Yep and I think better than Prisma Colors for price. If you have light hands then you can do wonders with this markers. THere kinda strong but if you know how to press well with them they look amazing.
These look like fun. I really, really like your car show guy. It looks to me like you knelt down to take the photo in order to get the straight-on view - something people rarely think to do and end up with unpleasing photos. I love that big 'ol belly! Have a great day.
Hi Patricia - Thanks for mentioning the car show guy, he was a character for sure. I did take the picture from a knee, surprised you knew that. You are super observant.
Hiya Marty! Hope you are well. It's amazing when we come across cheapo art supplies that actually work brilliantly, isn't it? I discovered a pack of 25 colouring pens for less than £5 in a discount store and the thing that intrigued me were the words Paper Mate written on them, in fact they are called Paper Mate Pointe Moyenee. Anyway, I was so surprised that they work quite well and are great for colouring large areas. It's also interesting to note that I once bought a Paper Mate InkJoy pen for use in my diary and it didn't last 5 minutes! The cheap pens and Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush Pens have a top that can be taken off (with my teeth) so I can revive them by taking them to the cold water tap and filling the case up with tiny drops. It works a treat..and takes me back to my childhood when all pens were like that!😃
JANE!!!!! - Greetings to you my friend!!! All is well here, no complaints. I mean the world is crazy right now and I want to write off 2020, but besides that...lol. Ahhh that's a good tip about reviving these pens. Have to try that. Thanks for the note my friend. I hope you are staying well.
I received a few of these in an art box. I wasn't all that impressed with them but I also did not hate them. I thought same that they would be great to color block in my sketchbook... Loved the interview with Gurney! Be well!
I've heard of Loew Cornell before. I think I saw something with that brand name at one of the stores here in town, probably paint. I have also known people that have used Loew Cornell paints and they were satisfied with them. If KingArt is the same thing, it might be worth buying them; but, some colors would probably get used up quicker. It would be nice to have colors available open stock. Thanks for the review.
Cool I saw these on Amazon, I want to buy but I have a set up Ohuhu that I barely ever used, so convinced myself I don't need them. Thank you for your review, I appreciate it. May I ask a question, does the paper matter?
I bought the watercolor tubes by this KingArt in Amazon but I have to return them because 2 reasons... The smell of the watercolors really makes me sick and also the quality was very weak compare to some student paint I have... Amazon refund the money with out any mayor issue....
I just brought the 36 set of this water color markers glad to see this video thank you - adding to my card making collection of supplies

Thanks Marty. These would be great for outdoor sketching where you can't really hold a wet palette.
Very true! And for less than .50 cents a marker, cheap fun.
Great job on your sketch. Good character.
Hey thank you Mary.
Great review Marty! Those colors look great! Looks like it would be a good set to travel/ doodle with. 😊😊
Hi Shannon - Are you still in Hawaii?
Owings Art yep! Happy to be here too!! Minus it’s super hot right now 😂 how are you doing Marty?

Hi Donna - I guess they figure you just buy up a bunch more if you need them. Hopefully, if they take off, they'd sell open stock.
Can you fix them if they dry out? Can you take a damp brush and take color from the marker or do you have to color first then take water to it.
I've never tried so not very sure, but I am thinking that might be tough.
I bought the exact same markers but o don’t know if I need water to do it.
You don’t need to add water to use these, but then why not use regular markers?
Would you review the Winsor & Newton colored pencils? I have the 48 pencils tin can, and I love it.
Ha! I'll have to look them up.
I got those at Ross lol 😆
Nice!!!

Hi Dawn - Absolutely the paper is really important. If it's not decent paper, it'll pill up and the colors won't disperse as well.
wait so do you wet the marker itself or you have to have a paint brush ??
Both work, but I use the paint brush after I lay them down.
I'm trying to use the water but it isn't working 😕
You may have a bad batch??
I have the same markers
They are nice.

Hi Walt - Thanks for the notes. Sorry to hear you had trouble with these. That's too bad.
I buy those markers and they don't work.
Sorry to hear that. You should let them know and see if they'll replace the ones you bought.
