As a bisexual woman with gay and trans friends I think pride month should just be a time of the year where queer people get to appreciate the progress queer activists have made, and spend time with gay people and their families with like a barbecue or something, like with other holidays. Gay rights organizations can organize events and stuff that people can visit to have fun, I´m even ok with adult stuff at some of them. But the adult stuff should definitely be kept away from children and should be organized so there is no way someone could actually bring their kid there.

What you said definitely resonated with me perfectly
Not to be rude, but you'll be fine. It's thirty one days of shit being themed differently. It's not hurting anything but feelings.
I think it's making the queer community seem like a joke tbh
