Award-winning poet Martha Sprackland on how Lancaster helped her career

  • Martha Sprackland now works in the heart of literary London as Assistant Poetry Editor at the world class publishing house Faber & Faber.
    She gained a first class degree in English and Creative Writing at Lancaster University followed by an MA with Distinction in 2012.
    An awardwinning poet herself, her passion for poetry led to her setting up "Cake" magazine while still at university.
    She explains how she came to study at Lancaster.
