I was just in Ireland and Italy for the past almost three weeks. Literally thousands upon thousands of people on the streets, especially in Italy. Not ONE time did safety even cross my mind as far as being aware past the "normal" sense. Back in my hometown of Cleveland? If I see any more than five of "the culture" in any one spot I don't go around the area or just keep moving.

This event was a side note to history, something important to know, but not holiday-worthy to me. You can’t create federal holidays for everything.
