Considering the novel I’m working on, yes it does.
Ah Frankenstein in the timeline where he ain't a terrible father.
@swarmling4017 I mean he was too blinded by the prospect of making a living thing to consider what to do with it
I mean, that is why the one version of Frankenstein where it is a comedy involves his descendent AND he accepts the guy.
The monster literally goes "I have Great capacitor for love and hate and if I can't have the one you'll have the other" so yea basically
Dr fankinstine being a good dad towards his monster is adorable
Thank god someone knows that Frankenstein is the doctor not the monster, lol

Now THAT is a Frankenstein movie I want to see. One where the doctor cares for his monster.
Then go watch it. It's called Young Frankenstein (1974). It is a comedy, though, if that's not what you're looking for.

Gene Wilder is a gem and a national treasure. He can not be replaced.
Which is why whenever they do a remake of a movie of his, I'm glad the actor does their own thing and never tries to imitate the legend.
