Hard using you hand though a phone. Wow second comment. Looks neater than a ram mount may need to get one if they do it for my phone. Thanks from North Yorkshire
Haha I know. I do say some crazy things. Yes this was one reason I got it because it’s not as bulky as a ram mount. I’d think twice if you have an iPhone 11 Pro though as I actually ending up breaking my camera due to the vibrations. Apparently this is an iPhone issue not quadlock. I have just had a reply from quadlock saying they now produce anti vibration bits to go with their mounts so hopefully that resolves the issue
As you probably found out the cameras should no longer work on an iPhone using the Honda accessories bar. The vibration of buzz in the Cb500X produces destroys the stabilization motors of the camera.
David Pisciotta yes I did sadly find out the hard way. Apparently it’s more only to do with the iPhone 11 Pro and their new fancy camera. Someone told me their iPhone 11 works fine. I’ve however stopped using it. Someone asked me for a video and I had already filmed this so thought I’d chuck it on for others to see.
@@lld-tv I had an iphone XS, quadlock mounted to my cb500x. That phone succumbed to camera stabilisation issues as well. Now I have the iphone 11pro max but daren’t try it out, even though quadlock now sell a vibration dampener that attaches to the mount and is supposed to eliminate the offending vibrations. (It’s all on their website). I need more convincing that it works, iPhones aren’t cheap!
Just seen your comments about the iPhone 11 Pro and wondered if the new kit with the anti vibrations bits will solve issues in my iPhone XR ? You’d have thought quad lock would have tested their mounts before selling millions to iphone users. Thanks for the vid upload btw.
I’m not sure quadlock have released the anti vibration dampener yet but I know they’re making one now. Do you have similar issues with your iPhone XR? I know I did think the same but then again if it’s an iPhone issue that shows their camera is sensitive almost too much for day to day life. I think quadlock would have tested on the iPhone 11 Pro though considering they sell the case for that exact phone model. No problem, hope it’s helped.
Mate, this was so helpful. Thanks.

Hi man! can you also put the phone vertically in that mount?
Yes you can! You can have it both ways
