Parental controls, Open the Settings app, then tap Screen Time. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode. Under Allow Changes To, select the features or settings that you want to allow changes to and choose Allow or Don't Allow. You can allow changes for these features and settings: Reduce Loud Sounds: Prevent changes to volume settings for safe listening This is different than the guided access locking of the volume keys. It sets a maximum volume, not sure if that would be at all useful. :-)
In my town we have this association that help with people with all different needs like that .. we have multiple programs that help people getting work in the community ..the association employs people to find the companies that will apply people like us ...
I feel like people who have physical disabilities can struggle to find jobs as well, depending on the disability. After I graduated college I could not find jobs at all for over a year. I worked at an office as a cleaning lady for quite a while. I was born hard of hearing which did limit me a little bit but mostly jobs that were customer service type jobs. My degree was in web/graphic design and what I ended up doing was an unpaid internship for the experience. But yeah I wish there is more assistance or at least jobs that don’t discriminate.
Yes, IDD kids get a certificate of completion. Diplomas are for students who receive degrees. This is how it is in most states to my knowledge. You are correct Asa that the unemployment rate for people with disabilities is incredibly high as I can attest. I have your basic LD/ADD with a touch of neurodivergence and I am unemployed. The blind and others who don’t have IDD and have high degrees of education have an insanely hard time finding work. It’s not okay.
Yes they do.We watched a momma and dad Robin raise their babies in their backyard. Every time mom flew out to get food dad would fly in and sit on the babies.
The iPhone now has assistive access and you can pick an app that you want her to have availability to and you can actually turn off the volume buttonso you set the volume at the level that you want and then they can’t adjust it. like Guided Access it’s password controlled
We have the volume fight every single day 😂 And it’s always shoved right against the ears. How it doesn’t hurt I have no idea 😂 There is an app you can buy that locks volume without locking the activity on the ipad. I am unsure of the name of it though
I told my doctor that I cannot use the mouth thermometers because if they hit that wrong spot everything I ate that day would be in their office. She said ok we will use a different kind. I have level 2 autism.
My autistic 22yr old son is a preschool teacher here in the UK. His level of autism is lower so he’s verbal, can drive etc but he works so well with the autistic children they have because he gets them and they don’t judge him either
also, did you know that 80% of the blind and visually impaired community or unemployed? People do not hire them either only 20% of us are working. I know friends who have high degrees and companies will not hire them.
hi, hoping you can give me a bit of guidance. My little boy diagnosed with autism has all of a sudden stopped eating, we have never really had problems before with eating he loves food, but now he point blank refuses. Im at a loss and I'm petrified that he won't eat again! 🥺😫
Do you think the discrepancy is because of lack of transportation in some communities? Not every community has easily available public transportation or programs for it.
Do you really mean graduate? My kids couldn’t get a diploma they had to get certificates of completion. Our state has tests that have to be passed in order to graduate.
I feel they should of worked with me harder on the stuff I needed to work on that helped me towards the test for the diploma but they didn’t they basically just passed me along instead of taking the time to teach me in a way I was gonna get it
I needed this video today! I needed some cheering up! Thank you. Abbie and Cilla at the doctor. Love them so much! Abs is definitely a handful I can tell. But you can see the love all over Cilla's face. Love you guys! Asa you have 2 beautiful young ladies on your hands. :)
Not Abbie eyeballing Priscillas hand on her iPad and then STRIKING the second she got her chance 🤣She has the biggest youngest child energy I've ever seen.

My mom gave me a Halo Bolt, it can air up tires, jump off my car, charge my devices and also has an ac/dc plug. Love this thing.
Awesome for emergencies! I made the mistake of leaving mine on my passenger seat while I ran back into my apartment to grab window cleaner once...😢

6:35 🎸 HAHHA!!!!! I’m having too much fun watching this.
fun fact! birds will often eat their young's poo to keep the smell away so predators are less likely to notice them!
Abbie is awesomely hilarious!
And she looked downright pleased.
She likes to have her own way I remember when I was her age
Haha she was like I can do this all day 😂
I work in a grocery store and we have a few stockers that have special needs.
For most of us on SSI, it will affect it
Looks like a great place! I would hang out there, if they had one down here.
She knows exactly what she’s doing 😂😂😂
lol at least you’re not in the car when it honks 🤣 they won’t suspect it’s you
Birds have both parents bring food to babies!
Yes they do.We watched a momma and dad Robin raise their babies in their backyard. Every time mom flew out to get food dad would fly in and sit on the babies.

Do you think the discrepancy is because of lack of transportation in some communities? Not every community has easily available public transportation or programs for it.
How about possibly headphones or earbuds

McDonald’s hires a lot of people with disabilities. ❤
McDonald’s is a wonderful job I used to work there as a disabled worker
Do you have any tips for working with nonverbal students?
Do you really mean graduate? My kids couldn’t get a diploma they had to get certificates of completion. Our state has tests that have to be passed in order to graduate.
My school gave developmental delayed students a diploma
I feel they should of worked with me harder on the stuff I needed to work on that helped me towards the test for the diploma but they didn’t they basically just passed me along instead of taking the time to teach me in a way I was gonna get it
Correct. Kids with IDD receive certificates of completion while students receiving degrees get diplomas.
@@blumberg1982 this is talking about high school
They will push push ‘em’ on through and give them diplomas anyway…

Not Abbie eyeballing Priscillas hand on her iPad and then STRIKING the second she got her chance 🤣She has the biggest youngest child energy I've ever seen.
