Boston's Bent Knee are musician's musicians. All of its members are students or graduates of the prestigious Berklee College of Music. More importantly, this seven-piece powerhouse weaves intricate melodies with broad dynamic structures to create a very original sound. Part rock and part orchestral ambiance, their self-titled debut album is a journey into a kaleidoscope of musical experimentation and sweeping emotion. Paired with singer Courtney Swain's haunting and heartfelt lyrics, this group is a fresh break from the stale conventionality of current popular music.
