I am just over 6ft tall and a UK dress size 12-14 and I can’t find anywhere that sells a single wetsuit that I could get into. Any advice for me? I guess it wouldn’t be wise to resort to a men’s wetsuit as the fit would be way off. I don’t want to give up yet….
Dry suits are normally watertight overalls with very tight collar and sleeve to prevent water ingress. You can wear normal clothes inside a dry suit e.g. fleece.
A dry suit offers no thermal insulation on its own. It’s the choice of garments you wear under it that provide that. A wet suit keep a layer of water close to your skin that the body can warm and reach a kind of equilibrium. Small damage to a wet suitors not render it ineffective whereas a tiny fault in a dry suit will allow it to be flooded and less than worthless.

What's the difference between a wetsuit and drysuit?
I'm not too sure. But a dry suit is a lot better for colder places like the uk or up north.
