- Check out the release window trailer for Atomic Heart, the mysterious first-person shooter from developer Mundfish. We're starting to learn a bit more about it, though. The team describes the game as "an action-packed first-person shooter set in the alternative, retro-future version of the 1950s USSR." Atomic Heart will be out for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. And yes, if that soundtrack sounds a bit familiar, it's because it is indeed being done by Mick Gordon (Doom, Doom Eternal).

It's literally a combination of Bioshock, with the 60's esthetic of Fallout (before the nuclear disaster), Dishonored 2, the combat and Soundtrack of Doom, and a little bit of Wolfenstein. This game looks absolutely perfect.

It's because it's not an english game. it's English Dubbed, the orignal audio is probably much better.

After so many years it's finally coming out this year, it looks incredible I'm glad they've taken the time to work on it before releasing it, it originally was supposed to release back in 2020.

This game has been in development for ages and I’ve been somewhat following it. Glad they’re finally making progress.

This set off so many memories of 70s comics, many of them "underground) that were available in England. A great many of them were set in a sort of weird retro Soviet/USA universe, where the cultures were mashed together to make an autocratic nightmare state. The protagonists were often unsure about reality, or what was expected from them, by the state.
This may be the first F-P S I have bought. Let's see how it develops!

The art style is absolutely on point. Soviet Bioshock looks promising. Could be generation defining if it's fun and well-optimized on release.
Bioshock is right on the intersection of steampunk and atompunk, this is full-blown atompunk. Comparable, but it's still gonna be unique.

This gives me Bioshock/Halflife vibes. This is officially the most awaited game of 2022 on my list.
True though Bioshock was a critique on capitalism while this seems like a critique of communism.

To be honest i'm gonna miss the "Old Russian area abandoned for years and taken over by robots" plot instead of the "New rogue robot apocalypse" plot, but hopefully the game will be incredible when it comes out even if the plot was changed

Some of the voice acting was a little stiff, but the visuals and enemy types look awesome

Be much better if it played more like Bethesda games as in... fists being default and able to learn magic or so. and use items as weapons and so forth but nope just a dumb beat em up with guns. Dime a dozen style like borderlands or something. Bet most all missions involve shorting an enemy. Instead of actually having any fun outside of just boom boom boom boom crap. Bet you can't climb trees. Or "parlour" or learn to glide. Or learn to fly. Or go inside most buildings or destroy environment. Interact with environment. I've been seeing so much content from Atomic Heart for like 3 to 4 years now on RUclips, so many little snippets of gameplay or concept footage, it's so weird seeing a full official trailer! But it's really exciting, and it's even more exciting seeing so many people that love the concept. Too bad the creature from ''Pushistov'' didn't make it into the trailer lol, that one was super creepy.
This is also a bunch of snippets. They have yet to show ANY actual gameplay and it's been over 4 years.
