Lyrics 🎤
His name was King,
He had a horse,
Along the countryside,
I saw him ride,
He had a gun,
I knew him well,
Oh, I heard him singing,
I knew he loved someone,
His name was King (His name was King),
He had a Brother (He had a Brother),
His only Brother,
A peaceful guy,
One day they found him,
His shirt was red,
Two shiny bullets,
They found his brother dead,
You can't see King,
Whoa, he's riding,
You can't see King,
That man is searching,
Got to fight his anger,
Find in his eyes,
Sure to find that killer,
Looking for the Man,
His name was King (His name was King),
He had a Brother (He had a Brother),
His only Brother,
A peaceful guy,
One day they found him,
His shirt was red,
Two shiny bullets,
They found his brother dead,
You can't see King,
Whoa, he's riding,
You can't see King,
That man is searching,
Got to fight his anger,
Find in his eyes,
Sure to find that killer,
Looking for the Man!,
His name was King (His name was King),
He had a horse (He had a brother),
Along the countryside,
I saw him ride,
He had a gun,
I knew him well,
And when he shot,
Oh that man, he never missed,
Ride on King, ride..
You get your man.. #django #django2023 #wildwest #djangoseries #djangosoundtrack #farwest

Christopher Waltz is an amazing actor.
The important thing for us which makes difference humanity from animal are our our worlds, what we are and whant to be are what exactly we are far from fake, i remember i rode from one of the genuine from he said to us, we have many bad people but same time there is many nice people, i don't know why i remembered that till i got the proof it from ,my reaction is my eyes look or contact and hug or maybe later that just beer's
When I first saw this film no one understood why I was so excited when this song came on. RED DEAD REVOLVER FOREVER BITCHES
They didnt make the song dumbfuck
He didn't even say that they made the song you fucking tosser.
That song is from a movie called Lo chiamavamo King, in english His name was King.
Finally a man of culture
What
I love how it gives backstory to why Doctor King Schultz was a bounty hunter and not a dentist
This song also serves for django.
King died of a gunshot wound to the chest, and he was a peaceful guy, King was also the closest person to Django, who gave his "freedom", an almost brotherly connection.
"He had a brother
His only brother
A peaceful guy
One day they found him
His shirt was red
Two shiny bullets"
"I knew he loved someone" This can calmly talk about Django's love for Broomhilda
But....It may actually be King's story, which explains his connection to Django.
@@juliana.5372 Makes sense,Deep stuff dude 👍
@@juliana.5372 He's not a peaceful guy - he literally kills people as a job.
@@Slechy_Lesh They said his BROTHER was a peaceful guy, we don't know what his job was mfw
That's a cool interpretation. The song's lyrics relate to the old western movie His Name Is King but Taratino not only uses a few old songs but references names and takes on ideas from all sorts of westerns
As a fan of this genre, it was so cool to see the little easter eggs sprinkled throughout this modern movie
There are people like King in this world. You don't mess with them, no matter how powerful and rich you are!
A classic soundtrack song.
You never learn King's backstory in the movie, but if you listen to his theme, it tells you. He was probably just your average everyday dentist, but as soon as someone shot his brother, he went on a quest for revenge; the killer probably had a bounty on him, and then he was all like, "oh! good idea!" Imagine what kind of badass adventures he had in the five years before he met Django. You could make an entire TV show or comic book about it.
It was never really about the money

is it suppose to be an homage to dolomite song ?
It's also in the description
i love how it gives backstory to why he is a bounty hunter now and not a dentist

Cried when Schultz died, my favorite
what a song and a film
I remember i was in sophomore year and i was taking a nap in music class, the teacher was playing the movie and once i heard this playing i woke up remembering those years i used to play red dead revolver.
The real OG's will say Red Dead Revolver
I'm just here bc 1.) I love Django. 2.) I recognized the song from the Coors Commercial.

An instrumental version in Red Dead Revolver, the full song in Django Unchained.
That bass line
When you play red dead revolver and hear this. :) knew it from django first lol

Red Harlow has Arrived, along with his new pal, Django.
I watching hier from Brasil 🇧🇷
Show esse som , com a voz de Edda mais linda ainda !!!
Can you believe the lady who sing it was 77 year old during the recording?
I legit thought it's a young gal who sing it like no more than 30. Amazing.
LOL, no man just no :D try to find something. She was 36 in 1971 when the song was recorded. What is more interesting that she sings in lot of Morricone's scores (once upon a time in the west - totally diferrent vocal range)
Giveall 96 weird, I've gathered it has been recorder for the movie around 2012
Well, Tarantino is known for using songs and themes from much much older movies. Only Hateful eight has original score. And even that movie has some themes from older movies, too.
@@CaptainPupu I think this is a credit error, if you listen to her vocals at 0:23 you can clearly hear Shawn Robinson singing like in Piero Piccioni's Right or Wrong
I'm obsessed with this song!!!!
And then there was me at age 15 in 2004 hearing this in Red Dead Revolver thinking it was the theme for the game.
The movie this was originally from was so-so, but the music in it was so iconic Tarantino knew people needed to hear it again lol
yeah, the QT movie it wound up in was only so so too. lol
@@EvieFive you are simply incorrect

Lo Chiamavano King (His Name Is King)
Seu nome era King
Ele tinha um cavalo
Ao longo do campo
Eu o vi cavalgar
Ele tinha uma arma
Eu o conhecia bem
Oh, eu ouvi ele cantando
Eu sabia que ele amou alguém
Seu nome era King
Ele tinha um irmão
Seu único irmão
Um cara tranquilo
Um dia encontraram-no
Sua camisa estava vermelha
Duas balas brilhantes
Eles encontraram seu irmão morto
Você não pode ver o Rei
Whoa, ele está cavalgando
Você não pode ver o Rei
Aquele homem está à procura
Tem de lutar contra a raiva
Encontre em seus olhos
Certifique-se de encontrar esse assassino
Procurando pelo homem
Seu nome era king
Ele tinha um cavalo
Ao longo do campo
Eu o vi cavalgar
Ele tinha uma arma
Eu o conhecia bem
E quando ele atirou
Oh esse homem, ele nunca errou
Cavalgue king, cavalgue
Você pegou seu homem
✌🇧🇷

My dad actually knew Quentin n the early 60s used tell me how into his work hed get amazing human being no doubt
That's cool.
Don't play video games anymore. Cool that it's featured in em, but this is FILM LEGEND
Video games are so much better than watching movies. I’d rather feel more involved in the plot rather than just watch it

Django took his freedom papers from Dr schulze dead body and left him to rot in the barn ,didn't even give him a decent burial.
He kissed his head to show remorse which is what I feel is all he could do at the time since he was still black and everyone still looked at him as a slave. Picture him lugging around a dead white man in the time he was in, he would have been hung.
love that fucking bass line.

Red dead rebolver . XD .... Psx2
Is this song about the King from Django or is this from something else?
It's from an old Italian Western "Spaghetti Westerns" they were called.
This isnt Edda Dell'Orso, the woman singing her name was Shawn Robinson!
Arthur Morgan dies in rdr2
John Marston dies in rdr
Red Harlow ends his story alive
Conclusion: Red Harlow best protagonist ever
please, name of the singer?
Edda dell'Orso , Italian singer, especially known for her collaboration with composer Ennio Morricone for which she provided wordless vocals to a large number of his film scores.Dell'Orso also provided vocals to film scores of other Italian composers such as Bruno Nicolai, Piero Piccioni, Luis Bacalov and Roberto Pregadio.
@@CinemaHotelStudios thanks
@@CinemaHotelStudios That is not Edda singing. She was credited incorrectly. It is most likely Shawn Robinson.
