New Ford owner of a 2020 Escape. I watched your vids then used the Park Assist system. It's a wow factor for sure. Easy to use and I practice when I can. So when on a busy street, I'll have the confidence to use it. Thanks again.
I have this on my 2022 Titanium Escape. I'm scared to use the perpendicular park assist because it looks like it's going to back in to one of the other cars. Did it look that way to you too and you just have to trust it?? Thanks
It takes a bit of getting used to for sure but you can always stomp on the brake if you're feeling uneasy about it! I did notice it gets a bit close at times but it ends up balancing out pretty nicely. Way easier to do on the Escape.. when I did it in the Expedition I was sweating a little bit
Hi, thanks for the video. I have a Ford Escape 2023 and was told by the dealer that it had parking assist, however the button pictured does not exist in my vehicle….?
It's only available in the Titanium trim level and if you have it you'd find it in the button cluster under the shifter. It's a little button with a "P" and Steering Wheel on it
Park Assist was only on the Titanium trim level of the 2018 - 2022 Escape and option in the ST-Line Elite, Platinum and Plugin in the 2023 and 2024 models
Ok my mind is officially blown. Cool feature and a great video.
Thanks so much Frances

Great to hear that the video helped you learn more about your Escape Daniel. How are you enjoying it so far?
I have this in my platinum fusionhybrid amd I love it. Good to see Ford still has this available
Great feature! Do you find that you use it much?
@@CarsWithSteve I have used it about ten times. Mostly to parallel park on downtown streets and indoor garages.
Thanks for helping me close the gas "door"
anytime!
Great explainer. Thanks Steve
You're welcome!

You're welcome! This video was on the last generation Escape, check this updated one out: ruclips.net/video/FjtrOZVZaV0/видео.html
Does 2021 Ford Escape SE have it? I have the regular gas one
Unfortunately not.. park assist is only available in the Escape Titanium
I dont hav 4 in the center stack?
Going to depend on what trim level of the vehicle you have
Where is the exact button location. I cant even find one on mine.

I would prefer to get acquainted with this feature somewhere other than a full parking lot.
Empty parking lot?
@@CarsWithSteve Yes, practice with cones until I am comfortable and proficient with using the feature.
Makes sense! Once you get the hang of it, I'm sure you'll love the feature
I don’t know if my 2020 Ford Escape SE has it.
Nope.. would only be in the Titanium model
Didn't have the park thingy

I don't see 2022 Escape on Ford website in the US.
Should be out in the next few weeks. It’s rare for Canada to have the next years model builder first
Uses too much gas ⛽️ tho
The Escape has pretty good fuel ratings.. especially when you get into the hybrid
