That stencil is a great idea. I'm going to get one and play around, because I agree with what you said, tone is expensive and it's one and done, it's not reusable.
I'd love to see your work "actually" screen toned, even if just digitally. Your lineart is very clean, would you ever consider having a collaborator ink your work? Like, Sandra Hope, for example? I'd love to see that combo!
I'd love to work with Sandra one day, she's awesome. The Pockey comic on my mailing list is screen toned digitally in Procreate and Clip Studio, I'll likely leave all the screen tones off the actual pages for now until I have a solution I am satisfied with. Thanks so much!
I am still hesitating to buy this menso brush. Because of the length of the hairs, I know I will stain my fingers and nails, because I tend to hold the brush very low. Since I have already this problem with my Raphael brush, I think it will be worse with this one...
I have the brushes I used, in the video description for this piece. It was difficult at first but I enjoy it so much right now, can't go back to using nibs, personally. It's also quicker for me, since the ink dries faster when it doesn't pile on top of the paper. I'll likely use nibs later on just to get better at it.

I’d watch more than an hour of your videos. I always learn something new or get inspired to try something I haven’t tried before.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻😊😊😊😊😊
Awe thank you! The hardest part of releasing something over fifteen min. long is having to watch through it while I edit them hahaha.
rendering those giant ben day dot stencils! True to craft, ink slinger!
hahaha, thank you! Needs a bit of work on my part.
You make it look so easy
I wish it were so, hahaha!

love the and self- restraint and control on over rendering
I say it all the time, so as to not over render, because I still do it hahaha!

Hey siya I like the clipboard where did you get it or what is the brand of it
It's just a regular art drawing board, you can buy off of Amazon. Any brand should work.

Random question….how are you filming this and getting so much angles, closeups and wider shots? Multiple cameras?
This video was one camera, just moving the tripod around and a couple of different zoom lenses.
@@SiyaOum that sounds tedious while filming work. Thanks for the response. Great vids by the way.
@@keithaguilar9790 Haha, you are welcome.
Were you buyed the ruler with circles ?
You can buy them online, on amazon. They are called, circle templates.
Is using the brush difficult? Never really messed with brush for line art before. Tempting to give it a shot. You recommend any brushes?

@@SiyaOum gotcha. Really appreciate you writing back. And I'll definitely give it a try. Keep on keeping on, Siya
