Great song. Another one of their songs that goes to the heart of our shared humanity and compassion. Such a great message of how even when we are just struggling to get through life -- as relative "nobodies" -- we can still a hero in our own way. Just by being good people and caring about others. That's enough.

Jamel - Bro, I'm loving your reviews. I've been a Rush fan since 1981 and since 1984, I've have seen this band 30 times in three different countries and on both coasts of the U.S. it's been an amazing journey to follow this band all of these years. I can proudly say that I was a Rush fan BEFORE it was kool to be a Rush fan. It's clear from your reviews that you understand this band man and I appreciate your reviews and not just on Rush, but across the board in the diversity of you eclectic taste in music. Thank you for keeping real music alive and well.
Here's another one from the Power Trio you will probably appreciate. The lyrics here are amazing and the bass line is funky AF.

Man I miss Rush. You've got to listen to another very underrated song similar to this called Losing It off of Signals. Very deep... One that has a great story is Mission off of Hold Your Fire or Red Sector A off of Grace Under Pressure. If you want the true impact of Red Sector A, you need to understand that Geddy's family is Jewish and Polish and his family were in concentration camps during WWII (in fact, his parents met in a concentration camp). The song was written after Geddy and his mother visited their family's ancestral home in Poland. Extremely powerful song. Someone did a video using Band of Brothers footage and it's incredible

I hopefully made somebody’s day today. I live in NEW YORK State and I recycle my plastics for cash. However today all the machines were not working so I left 4 bags of plastic bottles there for the Taking. Merry Christmas. I’m know there are more people out there who could use the few $ more than me. I missed out on November pretty much. So I hope I made someone’s day.

Love the channel. Out of all the people doing these first reaction videos you are by far the best. Not only are you a hilarious to listen to and your commentary not only on point but also funny the boat. And you’re not picking the same songs everybody else’s I mean every other one has Guns N’ Roses welcome to the jungle or Aerosmith dream on etc. You’re picking rush songs for instants that aren’t that popular even amongst Rush Vance. I.e. you could’ve done Tom Sawyer 2112 closer to the heart etc. but she chose to them more obscure songs.
But mostly I like your breakdown on the songs and stuff and you’re really funny reactions like to Black Betty where you said they made this video for FREE in their backyard at these guys can play in a sewer if they wanted to be like damn what’s that sound down there
So the twins are out and you’re in far better music collection and commentary and also looking at the walls behind you obviously you’re heavily into music that’s rather a parent so I don’t even care of her first reaction or not you’re just introducing people to new songs in the music that are ones you might normally here so great job keep it up.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Neil would never claim to be a “hero” just a musician. But coming up on the anniversary of his passing I still feel the shadow pass my heart. And he was a hero to me, because he was honest, true, unpretentious, a loving father and husband. He strove to be excellent at his craft and trade. There is much to admire in the way he lived life, a good example. So yeah he is a hero.

For me, the lyrics that should affect everyone are the following: Hero the pride of purpose doing the unrewarding job
We all have unrewarding jobs in life and we need to accept the fact that although probably crappy, it should still be rewarding for providing for their families

Rush has always been a band standing tall for those who don’t always fit in. They have a song for everyone. In school I was my own person. Didn’t associate with a particular click. I tried to be everyone’s friend. But most people didn’t like me because of it. And Rush, with their messages, and especially in Subdivisions, helped me to cope with that. And so I never changed for anyone, resulting in knowing real friends from the fake. Even to this day. Blessings to you all.✌🏼
