When I Write a Song

"When I Write a Song" is an original song by Pat Minnick. In 2010, I read an article that gave an interesting perspective on the stages of songwriting. Something I can still fully relate with. At that time, it inspired me to write this song based closely on the article with some key quotes taken from Tom Marshall’s explanations.
