Finding a balance helps you enjoy the benefits without letting it overwhelm you. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
Bro is spitting facts. As with all things, do not put music onto your ears most of your waking hours. Learn to moderate and use it only if you want some inspiration. I myself have liked listening to music to fall asleep. But after about a decade, I tried to ditch as I felt so unsure of its effects. It can leave me sometimes to groggily wake up just listen to another round of songs to boost my energy but still can make me weary at the end of the day. The cycle continues. And after completely getting rid of it, I was now sleeping as sound as when I was a kid. He's not trying to keep us away from listening to the songs we love. He was, after taking some conscious decision to change his life, now banging girls left and right. Anything detrimental to your goals - which is anything unmoderated - cannot let you achieve growth exponentially. At the end of the day, like all things let's be wary of changing our lifestyles unless that's what we really want.
Having a musical background is a net positive for this. We associate music as a work task (thinking of the key, rhythm, pitch, etc.) whenever we hear it, and so we get very distracted if we try mixing it with another activity. And it's not just professionals. Ask anyone who took lots of music lessons when they were younger.
Im currently living in a high stress and fast pace city. So I need music and earpiece to de-stress and cut off those annoying sound around me. When I back to my hometown where less stress and slower pace, I dont really listen to music via earpiece anymore. I only listen music when driving(no earpiece ofcuz)

Hey man, I totally get you. ADHD makes it really tough to focus without some form of stimulation. It sucks feeling like your brain's wiring is working against you. Hang in there, and keep experimenting to find what works best for you. Thanks for sharing your experience! ❤️
Yeah it really is quite difficult and with ADHD it at times really feels necessary to use music in such a way to focus. I have however this past half a year found after loads of experimenting a sort of balance where I now make sure to at least half the amount of time in a week that I’d listen to music, and try to find stimulation by attempting to appreciate the ‘dull’ moments such as walking/cycling outside, appreciating the nature and/or the weather, or just sitting and letting my thoughts come up and reflecting on myself etc. It’s still really oddifying at times to me, because now I’m able to appreciate such, but throughout the past ~6 years I really ALWAYS listened to music, and it feels like I just blocked myself off from the world; when I was outside, I wasn’t really outside, I was with my music instead - or something like that. Just thought to share such, ah I don’t even know why but I guess it just felt justified to reply to such here for me. I’d say music genres in moderation is more of a healthy way to include music in your life. As a musician, you do list some key points of interest especially the parts of the brain that become overstimulated by music. Music as all things can be addictive, but when you listen to it in moderation, and include ambient sounds and binaural beats you can also heal your brain from the music and grow within yourself, not saying you shouldn’t experience life without music. We should all try and experience life to the fullest and sometimes dis-including music is the best way to go. But you shouldn’t have to completely cut music from your life, just like the video says use it as medicine. Sometimes not to listening to music for a period of time for me helps to find a new inspiration within myself so there are beneficial effects of dis-including.
I listen to music in general when I am trying to work/solve problems. Simply bcz I don't have my own room So I can't just get away from my family easily and block all background noise. I listen to music with no lyrics. I don't listen to music when i am trying to understand a concept or something similar. Am i cooked?
No, you're not cooked at all! Listening to music without lyrics to block out background noise can actually be really helpful for focusing, especially in a busy environment. It sounds like you've found a good balance by avoiding music when you need to deeply understand something. Keep doing what works best for you!
Anything I mean anything you overdo is harmful even drinking water. So do whatever you want , after all he's just a guy suggesting things, wanna apply it go ahead don't wanna apply it also your choice. Just remember no one can convince you to do shit but you yourself.
Exactly, balance is key in everything. Overdoing anything, even something as essential as drinking water, can be harmful. Take my suggestions as just that-suggestions. It's up to you to decide what works best for you. At the end of the day, you know yourself better than anyone else. Thanks for the reminder!
You're absolutely right! Music can be great for focus and relaxation, but it's important to find a healthy balance. Too much music can become a dependency, making it harder to focus without it. It's all about moderation and knowing when to enjoy the silence too. Thanks for the insightful comment!
I have read those coments a little bit and I want to say Something: It is NOT a difference If you play, create or hear the music but its the difference what you are listening to. I can understand if you mean modern music (Rock, Pop, Jazz, ...), but historical music (baroque, classical or romantic) is someting very different. This music cannot be unhealty or something like that. I am saying this as a musical-friend, pianist, moslem and composer.
No wonder why all of my Playlists sound so good after almost a year of not going out of my way to listen to music! Love just goes on and I have other things to do instead, you know? Wait... Would this be considered a relapse?
I get what you mean. It's all about balance. Just like with music, it's important to find a healthy way to enjoy the sounds and interactions with your loved ones without feeling overwhelmed. Moderation is key-it's not about cutting out things you love entirely, but about finding a way to enjoy them without letting them take over your life. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Umm... not a Muslim here bit even I know this is false. There are a large contingent of A-lister Muslim musicians. Pretty sure there's nothing in Islam that says you can't listen to or even make music. The Quran is written in poetry which is the music of words
@@user-hk9zr4wq2j again false. Then explain the Muslim musicians in the world. The definition of poetry is arranging language in meaning, sound, and rhythm, which is essentially what music is. The Quran is literally written in peom. That's facts

Yes it will help, just try not to get addicted to it
I listen to music in general when I am trying to work/solve problems.
Simply bcz I don't have my own room
So I can't just get away from my family easily and block all background noise.
@@thedarkneedle thanks for your confirmation bro🗣️
Haha wow... next you're gonna tell me dancing is bad for you.
Everything too much is bad. Take it as much you NEED IT. Not as much you WANT it.
What if you use music as a spiritual practice for meditation/visualization?
Anything I mean anything you overdo is harmful even drinking water. So do whatever you want , after all he's just a guy suggesting things, wanna apply it go ahead don't wanna apply it also your choice. Just remember no one can convince you to do shit but you yourself.
Exactly, balance is key in everything. Overdoing anything, even something as essential as drinking water, can be harmful. Take my suggestions as just that-suggestions. It's up to you to decide what works best for you. At the end of the day, you know yourself better than anyone else. Thanks for the reminder!
uhm but how to stop >.
you don't have to stop! music is beautiful and this video is highly misleading. learn to take everything on the internet with a grain of salt.
Music are good for you but too much of it can be bad and detrimental so consume music in a healthy way you don't need to get rid of it from your life
You're absolutely right!
I'll poke my ears with hot pokers, the sound of my loved ones is far to addicting, I hear it daily and I am addicted. This has to stop.
Islam bans music for a reason. All praise be to god❤
I think you are Hamza 😂

🤣😂
Joking bro but you are a good Self Help guru.
So the addiction is over stimulus which causes the release of dopamine.
Better than listening to you 😂
*meanwhile there's low quality music playing all video long*
LMAO
muslim did it, not listen music
Umm... not a Muslim here bit even I know this is false. There are a large contingent of A-lister Muslim musicians. Pretty sure there's nothing in Islam that says you can't listen to or even make music. The Quran is written in poetry which is the music of words
@@herotomillions4095 no
@@herotomillions4095yes there is difference of opinion in Islam about music, but Quran is not music of the words, appreciate it....
@@user-hk9zr4wq2j again false. Then explain the Muslim musicians in the world. The definition of poetry is arranging language in meaning, sound, and rhythm, which is essentially what music is. The Quran is literally written in peom. That's facts
what is third world country?
