Ich fahr 205 45 16. Der grip von den ar1 ist besser. Kanns aber leider nicht auf die rundenzeit runterbrechen, da ich leider kein video von einer runde ohne Verkehr hab
Hey man, Im currently saving up on buying a K-engine as well for my EJ9. Do you have any sites or recommendations for documentation to get it TÜV-approved? (since you're apparently from Germany as well). Help would be much appreciated!
Hey man, sorry for my late response. Well just can say how i did it. I went to my tüv guy with my car documents (Fahrzeugschein) and with the car documents from an EP3 and asked if it would be ok to install that engine in my car. Then he checked everything upfront and agreed. After i did the engine swap in came to him and he did the inspection. That it
Niice. Yeah thats the benifit. You really can monitor your preasure in real time. I‘ve started with 2,00/1,80 cold. Then after 1-2laps i adjusted it to 2.1/2,0 hot.
Matthew de Paula thanks! Gearbox is oem from EUDM EP3 but i changed the final drive to JDM 5.1 and installed the JDM LSD. The shorter final drive makes a huge difference

what a racing.. just so epick driving home your k swap and overtake some m bmw on ring in other video with engine in trunk :D I have same as yours civic ej6 but with d16y7 and looks like that chassis is good with that power of k20 or so.. strut and roll bars ?, do you run some camber? make maybe a short video about your car its nice
thanks :) from my pov the ek chassis is a perfect basis for the k20. The car really drives like it would came so from the factory. On the front i have the oem ek4 roll bar and at the rear i have the JDM ITR sway bar including the ASR subframe. At this video i still had my KW V1 with about 2degrees at the front. Somehow my gopro didnt filmed every lap..especially the good laps :/ But anyway i will upload a new video within the next weeks. Cheers, Kriz
@@krizJDM tny for response! car seem to handle like god and there is not much scraping on the fenders :) nice setup. would you recomend K20 for dd over the b16?
@@krizJDM so glad to know there is ordinary people throwing that kind of money on old civic (in a way like myself) but i guess that setup rips some serious cars in curves.. how many seconds shaved on ring with that suspension? tnx for reply .. and mate everything is not so good this year ;)
@@sebakovac9190 exactly thats also my thinking. It makes so much fun driving with M and Porsche cars on the ring :) of course i recommend also the K20 as DD. But comparing an EP3, FN2 with an EK K-Swap is impossible. You can feel that the engine plays with the weight difference from approx 250kg. Are u planing to go to the ring this year?
@@krizJDM Yes but as civic owner myself. I had EG6 B16 drag build that showed full potential on drag (straight lines). It could go on circuits as well, because of their flawless acceleration. But we all know civics made their names from drag races. Thats what i was trying to say
Unknown Identity i understand what you are saying but can’t agree. Civic are known for drag??? I’ve never seen a civic fast at drag races. For me old hondas/vtec engines are most probably known for lightweight and fast on track

Shift throws shorter than Danny Devito
Nice and smooth!
