Honestly sometimes I feel like i have given too much to my hubby and children and gave up on myself. Whenever I feel exhausted, I break down and demand myself back. I would watch movies with hubby until like 1am...Hostle we enjoyed it together, Telemundo etc...I had to give it up painful. I bless the lord for family . To be honest I started discovering myself when I start following Bump love like 2 years back. I love all of you ladies, the beauty about Bump love, my hubby enjoys it too.....He goes, " have u heard your girls". Go getters, keep lighting our candles.
I became a mom to a baby, Cerebral Palsy baby and I put everything on pause. Shen Baby made one year and I was daigonised with stomach cancer almost taking me out. My career,my work, everything seemed done.. This talk has really been the most attached for me.. Thanks ladies..
Finding your page about a month back felt like finding that new friend. I love how vulnerable you have accepted to be to make it more relatable. May God bless you and your households.
Phew child!!! I can attest to what Manuela gave up. Manuela was definitely on track to lots of corporate success. That said, as someone that has followed in Manuela’s footsteps since primary school, I have been even more inspired by the detour she took. Manuela has incorporated all her skills from corporate into this amazing influencer journey. This is infinitely more rewarding and it’s no surprise it’s what led her to be shoulder to shoulder with Barack Obama, one of the greatest people of our time. I am so proud of Manuela. This is definitely what she is destined for.
She’s very brilliant. Went to school with her in primary but was 2 classes ahead of her. She’s lived a great inspiring life than I did. Very proud of you Manuela & still gorgeous. 😘
Loved hearing Nabachwa and Rosette talk about hitting the pause button and coming right back once our children are older and don't need us as much. Times and seasons are such a beautiful thing..
Pumla’s part of foregoing her PHD scholarship offer just to be there for her son...Beyond wowed! & the sacrifices of the other Mothers too🙌🏾.MOTHER is indeed a title just above Queen.🤗🥰
I think this is the MOST IMPORTANT episode of Bump Love in terms of parenting resources. The affirmation, the advice, the reminders, the truth.Thank you soooooo much for this conversation.
Am Soo glad I bumped into this channel. I was feeling like an underachiever because I have given up corporate job and money to raise my daughter but I feel so uplifted because I know am on the right path. Thank you Ladies. I relate Soo much to this content.
This is One of the best Bump Conversations I have watched. I loved it when Mrs. Mulondo talked about organisations setting up child care facilities for women in the workplace then Angie's point on women being there for their kids till a certain age. Thank you ladies 🤰
I love these ladies so much 💕💗❤💓💖💛💕. Kati for Angie and Rachel, ur accent makes me feel like taking my children to the schools u guys went to . Love u guys
Thank you so much ladies. I gave up my job for my beautiful children and many people have laughed at me..... I know there's a time when I will be able to do other things.
I feel you. It's tempting to think that being a mum is a waste. But having to raise a good quality citizen for the country...for the world is such a huge role
Please share more on this. Like how did her day look like practically. Been struggling with the notion of giving my children my years and feeling like im wasting away. Your help will be highly appreciated
Baby gal, this is so me. I am not even excited to have my own children because i have been a mother sinceee and its so tiringggg. Bump love should do ko for us aka episode
I get u Rosette. Doing Careerer, school and kids isn't a walkover. Here trying to balance it and Like Angie has said it, support from Family and Hubby and God above it, the boat is balancing.
OmG these ladies have given me so much hope, thank you very much, I have always bitten myself up that I decided to be a full time housewife and mum and first give my kids the time that they need, but with all the outside noise, I have always felt like a made the wrong decision, but you ladies have surely given me hope that I can still fullfil my dreams and goals at anytime, so thank you very much. #literallytearsinmyeyes
For me i just don’t know how my dreams shuttered but thank you ladies and i give all the glory and honor to God for each and everyone of you for your experiences. Am encouraged each time you share on this platform, God bless you all.
I so much appreciate the different personalities. Thanks a lot for touching my life. I am a new mum and i am learning alot from you. Sending love from Lubumbashi ( D R Congo).
Wow, Ladies with brains.....I will always say, that I like the way each one of u shares very honestly from your experience..........Thx alot.......we resonate and learn alot from each one of you. Thx thx thx.....
In retrospect, i feel i had my child at the perfect time. Partly could be because i had her in my mid 30's, so i had done all the good/bad/crazy/ curious stuff there was to do and was more than ready to transition into a new life of being a mother. Let me add having a child has immensely contributed to becoming better version of myself. Am not married yet, but sometimes i do wonder if i ever get married whether it won't change the dynamics i have with my daughter. We are just two curious souls who have itchy feet and enjoy each other's company.Though i look forward to what God has in store for us in the future. 🇰🇪fan
You ladies help all mothers out here on our journey.... @manuela speaking of lactation places bambi you guys need to do aka episode on that coz bambi.... We have stories
Well represented, thank you ladies. .. Am a creative but for 7years I have given up my hobbies too, singing, travelling, going out. I have struggled on and off in my decor industry, this year I went in a depression. I have resolved the be gracious to myself and be present in this motherhood season. We can't undo the what our babies grow into but we can be present & intentional to raise responsible God-fearing children. Thank you for the shows, very helpful
This is a beautiful discussion ladies. Very timely for my personal journey. I love what Pumla said, that the motherhood journey is what builds you up to be that Director or competent enough to achieve that position. That its all part of the process and not a diversion or a speedbump. Its a good reminder to take every opportunity as a learning opportunity positively because you never know when you will have to apply what you have picked from it.
This was a great sharing for me. I currently feel like I gave up the leisure of time for other activities like evening chills with the girls, overnight stays at friends... the likes. But it has overtime made me more empathetic to others.
Really great episode....I had all these amazing plans but when my child came I gave up a ngo job with a really good pay and everybody thought I was crazy...but in my mind I side I got all this now I can get it all and more again.
This just came at right time…l needed to hear this …Putting my career on hold has been devastating but l feel much better after watching this episode. Thank you bumplove ladies🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ambitious mum of a 3 year old. Been "forced" to be a stay at home mum and it was killing me. But this has been encouraging. Gonna be a more focused mum.
Pumla I absolutely love your transparency and self awareness. You are so much like a friend of mine, it's crazy how similar your personalities are and I love it!
Haha! I don't know how to be anything else munange. Got me into trouble when I was younger but now that Noone can beat me, I say and do what I want 😂😂😂. P
I love and relate with Pumla giving her child the first 13years. You and me both. These first years are all you have to impart and impact on your children what you desire. After that they are more out there in the world than with you.
Loved loved loved loved this episode. Thank you for speaking to me. Took a career break and my role got advertised because yes, the company must run with or without you! A colleague reached out to find out more and ‘He’ went like... just one baby blah blah I was angry at first because of course he couldn’t get it but made peace with it cause I know it will be well in the end. Thanks ladies for affirming us always💋
Hey Bump love gals... Just know i love you all and love your ideas. I like the way you keep beefing up each others points.... Its not common to find ladies in a discussion about a topic keep complimenting each other and beefing up..or building onto each others points.... You are such a great team.
I guess today i get to share my story with Bump love. I joined this show just as it had started. I hadn't even thought of when of when am going to have a child. I have seen and took notes off every show. Shared all the videos to those i know they would help. Its now coming to 3mths of motherhood. But you ladies have mothered me in this journey. God bless your beautiful souls. I had a chance to meet Mukyala Nabachwa❤ at my work place @Code Clinic i was at the peak of my morning sickness. She just told me to take one day at a time. Now that this as aired....thank you i was worried about stopping my life for my babies. Thank you am at peace now. I thought when my mom passed i would lack the guidance but thank you because the show has been mom.
