What a wonderful story! It really is so amazing how home fragrance, personal fragrance, etc can bring us all together. I am so sorry for your family's loss of Mango. It's a devastating loss at any time, but most especially when it's unexpected.
Please take good care of yourself always, but most especially when dealing with Covid. I am very glad to hear you are on the mend from dealing with it.
I am living for the day when Pacific Sandalwood comes around for BBMB voting. I have a feeling it's unlikely to do so, but a girl can dream.

I also started down the RUclips rabbit hole to learn more about scents & was surprised how much I enjoyed watching people i didn't know talk about wax. I also 1st started watching Lisa R & John S (miss his videos) & shortly thereafter I found Patricia G as well & started watching so mamy others & enjoy supporting everyone with a channel.
I also was into Avon perfumes for a bit & have scent nemories tied to a few scents.

Loved this Carrie! I think it’s sweet the way your mom encouraged your creativity & love of scent. They took pictures! Wonderful! It reminds me of my daughters who still talk about their favourite scent memories & how their crazy mom scented every room in the house. I used to let them create perfume with my various potions. I miss the old Mark! I feel like Avon has changed a lot in the last few years, but I haven’t bought anything from them in a long time. Hearts & Daggers was my fave!! Maybe Scentsy should look into a banana split wax hehe 😉

Your Casting Spells story resonates with me as well…I bought a bar of it from a vendor at a Farmers Market when I was first getting into Scentsy, and was excited to get my hands on anything new. I love love love this, thank you for sharing your story Carrie!! I am also glad to have met such amazing people who are just as fragrance crazy as me 🤣🤣 I relate to many of your childhood stories, the significance of certain stores or products or the scents of special people. But for me my parents hated anything scented so perfumes and candles were like forbidden luxuries for me! The original Herbal Essences shampoos and Satsuma soap from The Body Shop made little 12 year old me literally dance with happiness!
It's cool that you have a longer history with Scentsy from the earlier years! I didn't know it even existed until 2021 and fell into complete obsession right away 😂 And you were one of the first RUclipsrs I watched as well, so you've definitely paid it forward 😊 Thank you for all of your insight and scent reviews over the years, they are really valuable to many people! 🤗

I’m kind of now at the place where you were. My scentsy consultant is repeatedly asking me to become one. I LOOOVE scentsy so much. Spend way too much money on wax but am obsessed with it, but I don’t think I’d be good at sales. I would be my only customer. ❤❤

I think we’re about 10 years apart in age (I, gulp, unfortunately the elder), but how fun we experienced the ins and outs of Scentsy around the same timeframes. I see the olive bucket warmer in the background. Did you get it as a Mystery warmer recently? I got that one and also got the accord warmer. I love the accord warmer as it has 3 12w elements so you can warm as a different wax everyday without changing wax.
