I grew up working on a farm in the 1970s with Oliver tractors. We had a 1600, an 1850 which was my personal favorite, a 1950-T, and a 2150 with front wheel assist and a day-long cab. We had a full compliment of Oliver implements. I like to aggravate the deere guys by telling them real tractors are green, meadow green with clover white grille and wheels.
The best-looking tractor ever made. Yes, looks do matter. ;-)

We had a 2255 fwa with the hydromatic trans and a cab. I think your information is off a bit as our 2255 was powered by a 3160 cat V8 engine. Unfortunately my Dad sold it many years ago to an individual who wanted it to restore as all the sheet metal was original and straight. Love seeing old iron out in the fields working, brings back fond memories of my youth.

Awesome video! I just picked up late 40s to 50s Oliver crawler tractor with a loader. Not the best shape but it's all there and not completely frozen. Well worth fixing.

Yes I had a oliver 1650 and I used it to cut hay rake and bale hay .till I had bought a white 2-70 then I just used the oliver for baling hay.
I sold both tractors about 3 years ago I wished I would have kept my oliver 1650 I miss that tractor .

Great machine!! I like those old brands, I‘m a huge allis chalmers fan and the one thing, that amazes me again and again, when I watch videos from the USA is, that you over there use always twin tires in the back. We over here (certainly can I only speak from my area: the italian alps) use them more or less only in the steep.
