We run a case IH 5088 axial flow and we harvest 500 acres of corn and 500 acres of beans through it each year. This year it hit 3000 engine hours and 2600 separator hours and it has ran 1 million bushels through it in 13 years
Thank you jason for sharing this corn harvest video. The axial flow combine is very impressive. My aunt had a custom guy he had and axial flow combine I believe the model number was 1460 that he used back in the 1980s.
Having the technology that warns you of obstacles in the field would be amazing. I came within a couple feet of taking out my augur going along power poles at night. It would have been disastrous trying to fix during harvest.
Combines have come a long way. My neighbors farm started with a 55 and today runs a 7250 Axial-Flow. The 55 is a tied and true combine and a top seller for John Deere.
I see they got away from the gawdy chrome joystick handle. I never did care for that as it looks out of place in/on ag machinery IMO. Case/IH makes some fine combines for sure. I really like hearing from all these farmers.
Are those actual CaseiH quadtracs on thr 8260?Unlike John Deere with their S7 Series combines CaseIH did not waster anytime getting the 7260-9260 out in the field

There’s farmers out there that ran one million plus bushels through a combine in a year.
For 1000 acres and 5 inches of top soil, thats pretty good
Corn harvest are some of my favorite videos. Talking with the farmer is always appreciated. Awesome video Jason!!
Excellent video
Thank you. It was a great day in the field for harvest.
The farm I worked on got the first Axial Flow 1480 back in the late 70s. Great machine.

There are not many case combines in my area, it's always nice to see one in the field👍😁 cool interview with the farmer😄👍
Always amazed how far they’ve come, first combine I drove as a kid was a JD 55 open station🤔

They burn hot and fast
We run 2 case combines 8240 and 7230
Two very good combines.

As always.
No one seems to have a solution to all that crop residue that builds up on the header. Ideas?
We run a 7010 afx
What if ethonal use just ends and there isnt anything supporting the price of corn.
This corn is sold to Jack Daniels. It becomes Whiskey and chicken feed.
I think that is a great question??
I think that is a great question????
You should do one on a 1997 John Deere 8100 2wd (U.S)
Why are they still harvesting in January?!
You gotta be kidding right? Look at how green everything is
How can I get one to buy am in Ghana
👍👍👌👌🚜🚜👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
I'm just wondering how much corn/soybeans/wheat do ya gotta run thru it for it to pay for itself before it's worn out..at allmost a million bucks
I personally don't like tracks !😊
This farm runs them primarily because they encounter allot of deer antlers. They found tracks have saved them alot of down time.
@bigtractorpower but it cost more money when they replaced 🤔
we have 3 gleaner R75 and before that we had 3 international 2388
