I think as Africans we are still suffering from Tribe and Clan conflict inertia, it's why we are unable to unite for a single cause. We also have a taboo against solving social conflicts and so when a small grudge happens we walk away, that's why we have so many churches, pilitical parties and family differences. Then there is the superstition😬arrghh grown ups still believing in gods, blessings, curses, demons and spirits.

I am not a nurse but i found your video very interesting after having xome across it randomly But i disagree with you on one key point as i have pondered over the issue of why Africans havent achieved the same level of success rhe asians have. I became interested in this as i did my thesis on entrepreneurship What we often forget is that what we generally call Asians in uk we are talking about mainly Indians, Pakistanis and Chinese and to some extent Filipinas. Now let me explain what i observed and figured out Indians speak one language for the most part and are majority Hindi. Pakistanis pretty much the same thing they are largely Muslims, so too some Filipinas. Chinese are all bhudhists but they are very homogenous as regards language and culture though with regional differences What this does is it allows all the indians here to network very easily and pool resources and spread the word regarding opportunity etc. It then means if you open a curry house every indian is your potential customer due to those reasons i offer (language, religion etc being similar). Same thing with pakistanis. Same with Indians. Notice whenever these people move to any country the first businesses they open are restaurants, shops sellings spices etc and they are immediately guaranteed a market by their own people. Add to this Pakistanis and indians are practically the same people Remember they were all one country till 1947 when they separated and formed India and Pakistan. Indians and Pakistanis just those two countries have more people in the UK than all the blacks in the UK put together including mixed race people (Check the population statistics) Now take me, a person from Namibia, yes I'm black and so too is a guy from Niger or Mali. What do we have in common? Nothing except skin colour and being from Africa. Im Christian and he will be Muslim. I speak english and afrikaans and he will speak French. Our foods are very different whereas Pakistani and Indian food is the same etc Then you look at how we got to the UK, most africans came here alone whereas many indians came here as a family eg Rishi Sunak and parents, Priti Patel etc after Idi Amin expelled them. As a result indians have deeper roots in the UK, it makes it easier fo find a marriage partner, business partners etc. i can go 6 months without meeting a fellow Namibian here in nothern Scotland for example and soon as i finish I'm going going back home unlike the Pakistani. Those family ties make it easier for them to organise and pool resourses and borrow from their own people and banks which isnt available to us as Africans. Remember i said there are more indians and Pakistanis than all blacks in uk combined and we are coming from 54 different countries plus more. So its harder for us to unite compared ro this larger group from just two countries My two cents🙏💪
No wonder we have been stripped of our true identity tht is a factor too....nt knowing who we truly are n understanding tht we are one n not who we were taught we are.misidentity
Build bridges regardless. Being African alone, let alone subsaharan African is more than enough to build a strong connection with that person from Mali. Africa is not what we have been told it is.
You are correct. In addition, the Asian populace/communities are registered to vote and do vote in all local and national elections. They vote en bloc to advance their interests as a community and that is why politicians court them and also how they are able to field candidates. Africans need to become politically literate and united wherever they find themselves.
You're right.... And owning businesses and paying taxes and employing people also gives you sway over politicians... It's important we vote as a bloc, but also own businesses. Basically we need to build communities.
Let’s not forget the corruption of the Asian community to get what they want👀….. the issue is that there isn’t an African community as such eg where’s the Nigerian community the Ghanaian community etc….there’s a Jamaican community that has representation and has been for years …. The communities you talk of eg the various Asian communities support their own by their own…. African communities don’t support their own…. I know a Ghanaian woman who has a lovely shop selling Ghanaian prints and she wasn’t supported enough she closed down…. The African communities allow the Asians to open warehouses importing their products …..nothing is African owned…. Indians support Indians Pakistanis support Pakistanis Chinese support Chinese etc …. Church are just draining the masses …worship God where ever you are …. The churches are getting richer and the people remain poor….and have nothing…. Education is key….

I’m still in my early 20s and I keep advocating to my friends to consider moving back to their respective countries or anywhere in Africa. They think I’m not normal and I’ll regret. I’ve mostly lived in Europe all my life and realised this will never be my home. The sad thing is we keep helping other people develop their homes while ours is not being developed. I am Ghanaian by birth and I’m already planning to relocate asap. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of issues in our country but I’d rather spend my life trying to help in my own way than spend my time here proving that I’m a human being because I’m black.
They knew when they met us on the African continent thousands of years ago that we were spiritual, and they brilliantly used that to supress the masses. While we were fasting and praying, nothing wrong with it if there is balance, others were developing businesses, buying property, and becoming industry leaders.
This is a very important observation. It's the same in America. Churches everywhere in the black communities. Followed by liquor and Marijuana stores. No businesses 🤦♀️😢
And what exactly has the black race gained from all that "spirituality"? Why are we always lagging behind others but yet so quick to throw our "spirituality" around like it's an achievement or gives us any leverage?
You’re very correct! We always say our leaders are selfish and greedy but I will tell you our people are more selfish and more greedy. They don’t want to share information or let their fellow African be on their level rather they will always compete and compare themselves to one another that’s why we can’t compete with other race.

Honestly Kofi Adoboli brought it upon himself. He could have naturalised donkeys of years before the incident to become a British citizen but he did not for some reason. He kept using his Ghanaian passport. The only reason why they were able to deport him is because of the fact that was not a citizen of the land (British). He had a permanent stay but he did not acquire a British passport.
A lot of Filipino nurses here in America are working hard and saving for their pension and retirement to go back to the Philippines. They are building homes and are set when they retire.
You are not as informed as you think. I know quite a number of nationalities that have powerful associations here in the west and these are evident during elections and in situations where members need help and these include african countries. The growth in countries like malaysia, singapore was not due to people running back from UK, US. People leave for economic opportunities and make home where they choose or where is favourable to them. We are no longer in the 70's and this fear of where you will be during war does not apply. The west is run differently from what it was in the 70's. Without the large immigrant working population a large part of europe would be in decline. Economies are in competition particularly the G7 and require man power. Do you really think they would sit down and let ignorant people pull them back? When you read about far right parties winning elections in europe you would think that they no longer require skilled people but you need to pay attention to the visas being issued and pathways for immigration. The riots took place in belfast and England largely due to lies and propaganda. Why were there no riots in scotland and wales? The same way the english were complaining about their country being invaded is the same way the irish, the welsh and the scottish complain about being invaded. What is important here is paying attention to the numbers and the numbers say there are jobs and the government has given people the green light to come in, do jobs and live here if you like. Home is where you choose to make it not where you think the color of your skin determines. Change is the only constant in this life. Society will and must change with time. If you decide to let ignorant people determine where you should be that is up to you but for me I know I will prosper where I set my feet.
That type of mentality always puts a target on your back in times of turmoil. Asians/Indians are being targeted by the criminal class in the US, and it's a matter of time before the political class does the same. This has happened in American history with the Indigenous tribes, Germans, Jews, Italians, Japanese, Irish, etc etc. Asians, Indians, and Muslims are next on the chopping block.
I have met many people from Central and South America that worked in the United States to get Money and start a business in their home country. I have also met people involved in higher education to get their degrees and return to their country. I think many people understand these Neo-Colonial societies and know that the racial hierarchy and ethnocentrism will make life difficult. I think if you research the other side of this coin you will find that whites from these post Colonial areas never felt that any great numbers of non-whites would migrate to them. They have historically seen the Colonized as stranded in places like Africa never to arrive on the European continent. In addition, whites feel that all lands belong to them and that they can decide how any area can be deemed exclusively for them. The Host is saying African migrants did not see it coming. Well, I think this is not surprising. People that think the home of the Colonizer will welcome him are suffering from the propaganda put out by Colonizers. This propaganda was circulated after the Second World War when Europe needed workers to rebuild. The foreign born people of color that want to work and leave as soon as possible is a reaction to Europe and the United States. This reaction sets in on most immigrants after realizing how destructive Neo-Colonial societies can really be. The Host has a good observation and I think research will prove this phenomena accurate. That is, most do not expect the wake up call that they receive from western culture.
Leaving Africa will not make Africans people financially free , in fact l haven’t met a financially free African in America , they keep struggling paying rents and saving

This sort of Afrocentric mindset of "you don't know your identity" is extremely condescending especially when you do it to people that have don't live in Africa or have never even set foot on the continent(some times for centuries). Yet you feel like they're missing "their identity" and you're not?
And yes for your information, there are millions of diaspora of Asians that think, identify and behave nothing like their mainland counterparts. More than Africans could ever dream of.
With all the hundreds of millions of people in Africa you choose to obsess over and demean the relatively few that are outside the continent, you are not a serious person. As if we are the problem. Overcome your tribalism and bigotry before you start talking about the splinter in someone else's eyes.
Do you know how many people have gone back home just to lives ruined? Where are you Afrocentric people then?
Did I say we are not immigrants? Okay you that's native do you live better? Have better life outcomes? Is that way the vast majority of youth surveyed said they wanna leave? Congratulations sir👏

As a people we get too complacent until we get a reality check!
You need to stop fleeing like cowards
The idea of building back home in Ghana is incomplete. Ghanaians abroad should also focus on owning businesses in the UK, Germany, Italy, Canada,USA etc.
Why do you said this?!
And that right there is the problem. We cannot see success outside of whiteness. Without fail we want to cleve to the west. Why??????? It’s so cringe
@@Euridsol Because the Indians in UK for example before they built the nice Indian cities to the standard it is now started owning businesses in the UK. If an indian in the UK wants a job in the UK it’s not hard for them at all. Especially if he doesn’t have the you know…
As a South African, it's shocking that there are Ghanaians who don't want to go back when Ghana has got so much potential. I would like to visit Ghana soon
And you people live in shacks in your own country and 90% is still owned by yts in your own country you own nothing 😂😂😂
South African Blacks just like American Blacks must not delude themselves into thinking because their country as infrastructure or a better economy than majority African economies - that they are out of the same bucket the majority of us are in. South African Blacks are in terrible state
@@nwaeze Learn punctuation, it really helps. But, yes, very correct; we live in shacks...it's really bad. I have it much worse as I'm renting a little cave. Please don't come. Also kindly pass the message to all your villagers. we're desperately poor!
@@nwaeze And oh, I almost forgot. Just last night, my best friend's cave collapsed. We sat up all night crying our eyes out. That has to be the single saddest day of my entire existence. I was just reminded of the incident as I was sharing concerning my situation here at home. 😭😭😭
And you people own 100% of your land, but you forsake all of that to come and live in shacks with us.
Now, that's really fucked up!
This is the logic I want people to realize, that nobody in his country want to be invaded in their own land
This is so revealing, I came in with this idea and thank God I’ve stick to it since I immigrated to the USA. It’s a great disaster to think your home country is a haven of hell when you travel… I see here as a market place and every reasonable person knows where to leave the market when business is over.
When markets get tight and money get's strained we are the last hired first fired worldwide.
Well said my brother. Many African people are waking up though. I'm from South Africa and I see a lot of growth. Nigerians here are very organized and are building big things, of cause there are a few bad apples but the majority are future orientated. It's gonna take a while but I think we're getting there as Africans in general.
Bro God bless you so much.

Lack of proper knowledge, brings sufferings to people.
Africans bad attitude and disunity is the one of the problem.
The second problem is how African politicians practices democracy.

My goodness. That's bold. And why embedded exactly. Most new learners tend to shy away from low level languages. 😂
I am not a nurse but i found your video very interesting after having xome across it randomly
But i disagree with you on one key point as i have pondered over the issue of why Africans havent achieved the same level of success rhe asians have. I became interested in this as i did my thesis on entrepreneurship
What we often forget is that what we generally call Asians in uk we are talking about mainly Indians, Pakistanis and Chinese and to some extent Filipinas. Now let me explain what i observed and figured out
Indians speak one language for the most part and are majority Hindi. Pakistanis pretty much the same thing they are largely Muslims, so too some Filipinas. Chinese are all bhudhists but they are very homogenous as regards language and culture though with regional differences
What this does is it allows all the indians here to network very easily and pool resources and spread the word regarding opportunity etc. Add to this Pakistanis and indians are practically the same people
Remember they were all one country till 1947 when they separated and formed India and Pakistan. Indians and Pakistanis just those two countries have more people in the UK than all the blacks in the UK put together including mixed race people (Check the population statistics)
Now take me, a person from Namibia, yes I'm black and so too is a guy from Niger or Mali. What do we have in common? Nothing except skin colour and being from Africa. Im Christian and he will be Muslim. I speak english and afrikaans and he will speak French. Our foods are very different whereas Pakistani and Indian food is the same etc
Then you look at how we got to the UK, most africans came here alone whereas many indians came here as a family eg Rishi Sunak and parents, Priti Patel etc after Idi Amin expelled them. So its harder for us to unite compared ro this larger group from just two countries
My two cents🙏💪
This is the truth
No wonder we have been stripped of our true identity tht is a factor too....nt knowing who we truly are n understanding tht we are one n not who we were taught we are.misidentity
Build bridges regardless. Being African alone, let alone subsaharan African is more than enough to build a strong connection with that person from Mali. Africa is not what we have been told it is.
I absolutely agree with this.
We need to unite with black Americans for their interests. They’re the reason we can even be here.
In Finland, I talked to a guy from Nigeria. He told me that most Nigerians have a university degree but don't have a good knowledge😊
Brilliant submission, thanks for drawing attention to this all important issue

When us black british tell you african immigrants whats really going on in the uk and how people really feel about us, you all look at us as if we are stupid and spoilt.
My own question is why has it taken you all so long to open your eyes to this when we have been trying to tell you all since forever.
This is why South Africans are different, we look down on people who think home is abroad and you will never come back. We encourage our people to come back home because this is you greener pastures. We don't even understand this church business that other African people export to other countries.

Great insight Manny.
Thanks Terry 😍😍
Nice talk Man, you are saying the truth, really hit the point .
I’m investing and plan to leave America and move the family to Japan. Follow your goals.
Well thought and well said. It is always eye opening when i listen to you.
You’re very correct! We always say our leaders are selfish and greedy but I will tell you our people are more selfish and more greedy. They don’t want to share information or let their fellow African be on their level rather they will always compete and compare themselves to one another that’s why we can’t compete with other race.
Uk, USA passport doesn't change your identity roots, l will never be a European citizen because of a passport. I can't forget my original country.
Yes please return back home and build your nations. At the very least there should be at least one great african nation for all to come to if need be
You are speaking the truth Bro

My brother crabs in a bucket mentality , I'm lucky that I have family and business partners who I can work with. But I know from experience and from other friends that people will work against yours and their own prosperity . But in my case I saw the writing on the wall and got the neck out of dodge before all of this happened.
Lucky you
You go back to Ghana and become the Ghanaian Elon Musk. Focus on the Africans who have returned home and succeeded and don't generalize. There are many youtubers show casing these successful Africans. Once you have succeeded in Africa, come back and school your fellow Africans.
Mannnnnnnyyyyy....great talk.....you look good
It’s because when Africans travel, we begin to point to our Fathers land with our LEFT FINGERS 😢😢
That is the bane of the black man. We despise ourselves so much that once we get the chance to travel out of our shores we want to quickly shade off our identity to take on that of our oppressors. We lack identity, that is why we are not taken seriously round the world. We don't know who we are.
Some do that and it’s not cool.
Change happens when we call it what it is. It’s fleeing! They’re not coming back unless deported!
I like your mindset Sir👏

Adoboli was never a citizen of the UK even though he lived there for ages, check the records mate. If he was he wouldn't have been deported.

True
You're a smart man.

This reaction sets in on most immigrants after realizing how destructive
Neo-Colonial societies can really be.
The Host has a good observation and I think research will prove this phenomena accurate. That is, most do not expect the wake up call that they receive from western culture.
You're correct brother.
Thanks for your Advice sir

I don't dispute what you are saying but you can't compare Africa to Asia; Asia has actual first-world countries and proper governance that allows people to enjoy their wealth back home while Africa does not and lacks security.
Wrong. India and Bangladesh struggle with terrorism. Japan with SA. It’s industrialization that allows them to secure their investment!
