Great build, Sam! Can't wait to see the tiles in action!
Thanks so much man! They looked great on the table
Amazing build, they look soo good. When it comes to spraying foam, I cover the foam with a light layer of watered down pva first. Then you can spray away!!
Thanks so much Levi! Yeah I'm thinking on using modge podge on my next larger build just for extra durability.
Very nice! I’m in the process of converting the starter box map to tiles. Might have to work on some modular road pieces now too. Thank you for sharing!
Oh that’s a great idea!
Great idea on the tinfoil! Also, I love making fallout terrain because generally if it's a little rough or you mess up it fits in perfectly!
Absolutely! Even little accidents work really well :)
@@MisfitHobbies I don't know if you've ever watched Bob Ross, a painter in the States, but he has a phrase "Happy Accidents!"
@@andrewrackliff8223 haha I have many of these when it comes to the hobby :D
Great video, thank you for making it. I always use defect, oversights and mistakes trying to use it into a positive. When 3D printing terrain, droops can be vines and overgrowth or even use it as better support for heavier foliage.
Great idea ! Thanks ! John from GWS :D
Thanks!
I love this, I am definitely going to try making this. Thanks so much for the video!
Let me know how you get on! If you're on Instagram feel free to take a photo of your tiles and tag me (@tabletophub) :)
Thanks again for inspiration and showing how achievable our hobby goals can be!
You’re making me mushy 😭
@@MisfitHobbies I think that's just yer British acting up 😜 But seriously, yer videos are great for the 95% of us that aren't absolute noobs nor seasoned veterans trying to win the next "Golden Demon" - which 99% of RUclips videos are geared toward. Your projects are effective with basic skills many of us already have, showcasing how they can be used for tabletop worthy but not resource consuming results - sometimes even without enamel washes 😝 So kudos I say, keep up the good work!
Great video. Can’t wait to see what the next project is
Oh it’s a biggie ;)
Nice job, I prefer to use 2mm cork-sheet for roads as it looks more like cracked tarmac
I definitely want to use some cork next time, I do agree it looks awesome
Yes!!!! Been waiting for this
It’s finally here :)
Awesome video and inspiring, looks like a fairly simple build. Totally agree about Zorpazorp as well, he's got some amazing terrain tutorial videos
He’s amazing! Love watching his builds, the guy is a machine
Looking fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing
No thank YOU Lina :)
I love the sandpaper technique, I do think it could do with more dmg since it's for fallout but that's personal preference and you could probably do that fairly easily by either having a layer of foam under that you can chip for holes in the road 😊
All in all I must say it's a very nice and smart build ^^ 👍
Yeah I'd love to try some cork board next time :)
This is fantastic stuff. Love it.
Thanks so much!
I would say go for some more psi on your airbrush, it should work out but never pull the needle past its gateway because thatll break the seal in there and cause chaos!! a little more dillution in the paint will bring success too. good luck!
Great tile pieces! 💙💛
Thanks!!
Great build! Where did you get that foam from? I can never seem to find it (also uk based)
Underfloor Heating Store :)
Very good tutorial. However I didn’t catch the name of the YT channel you recommended and the airbrush video link didn’t show up. Please advise
So Zorpazorp was the youtube channel and here is the link to the airbrush video :) - ruclips.net/video/a0h1wPf4Mnk/видео.html
Wow so I put off building these for a while as I was struggling to find the foam. After that I just have up and went to the underfloor heating stores website and found out they are literally a 6 minute drive from my house.
:D that's amazing, they're still the best place I've found to buy foam from here in the UK
Nice roads!
Thankyou so much!
Any issues with warping? I'm thinking this could be great for Marvel Crisis Protocol too.
No issues whatsoever :)

Thanks!
I’m American but cause I use GamesWorkshop products and watch you I’ve been texting or speaking like I’m British- 🥶
Now I’ve just got to start using more Irish slang so I can pollute your accent even more 😂
