    Its lack of strobe-ready function is a dealbreaker for me. Will keep on using my great P20ix!

      And edc33 and edc35 lacking strobe mode are huge dealbreaker for me either way

    I bought the EDC 33 after seeing your video and this will be my next purchase. Shame I hadn't known this was coming out as I would have bought two of these!

    just got mine yesterday. little disappointed turbo only last anout 10 seconds before stepping down. my p23i at 3000 lumens last several minutes and stays much cooler

      Agree on this one, the micro leds get hot very very fast

      Well it is said that this flashlight is not built for constant turbo mode, that’s why it has only momentary option for highest modes.

      @@nikolaymivanov I don't see it being a problem in real use. I was expecting 30 seconds to 60 seconds though like the mh12 and mh25 pro

      My P20ix is great as well! Strobe mode will be a crucial lifesaver at 4000 lumens while this new flashlight lacks it!
      Nitecore needs to come up with a 5000-6000 new tactical flashlight with strobe-ready function before I can even think of upgrading.

      @@chaxologist2024 LuminShield with 5000 lumens is enough competitive than the lower lumens in strobe in a lot of flashlight. I have a couple of flashlights with lots of lumens, but their strobe mode doesn’t use them at maximum. So in my case Nitecore is a lot more blinding with LuminShield than all of my other flashlights in strobe mode. I bet Nitecore put a lot of time into research and testing before taking the decision not to include strobe. I also wonder do you use your flashlights only in strobe that it is a deal breaker, or you just find a reason to grumble about something anyway…

    I'll buy that kind of flashlight. I just bought an olight seeker 4 pro , im not that satisfied on its brightness but it has beautiful design and its durable .

    How's the tint on the EDC33 and EDC35? Does it have any green/greenish yellow in the beam color? And if it is a cool white LED, is it blueish or more pure white?

    • @NitecoreSG
      @NitecoreSG  6 месяцев назад +1

      Looks pure white to me. If you’re using it outdoors it shouldn’t matter much. Do you need color accurate beams?

    • @Aerox90
      @Aerox90 6 месяцев назад

      @@NitecoreSG Alright 🙂 Well, I don't actually "need" color accurate beams, I'm just a "tint snob" 😅 For me the color (tint) of the beam matters more than the output.

    • @jmarsh667
      @jmarsh667 Месяц назад

      I think you'll like it. I'm a bit of a tint snob to the point that I stopped buying Cool white for the most part, but I'm really enjoying my edc35. It's definitely one of if not my favorite light now and doesn't need strobe light because of it's lumen shield combined with the amount of intensity the light puts out. Lumens is total output, candela is intensity and it's powerful. I have a lot of very high lumen lights and the intensity of this blows those away.

    Would be more impressive if they didn’t lock the battery inside. Why wouldn’t they allow user replaceable battery. Just for that I won’t be picking one up.

      100% agree with you. With built-in battery I think I'll pass. Its a great flashlight anyway but the built-in power cell...

      @nikolaymivanov 6 месяцев назад +3

      Mine god, stop complaining about the battery… I use EDC33 every day at work and I charge it not more than twice a month. What are you doing with that flashlights - lighting up bathroom all night 🙄 You all talk about batteries like it’s the end of the world. Most of you phones can’t get through the day without charging, and you don’t complain, but complaining about product which in most scenarios doesn’t need to be charged more than twice a month…

      @skmfkr2 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@nikolaymivanov good point to make. we can't remove the battery on our phones .. we simply recharge it. I've had my p23i for a year and never had to remove the battery just charge it with a USB c cable.
