It's too bad these media types go after a few "stories" and ignore the rest of the field. I've often seen the winning horse just shrugged off like he didn't exist, and the "star" horses, whether they lost or won with all the press. Thanks, Partymanners for such a long piece (pre-post and race). It is much appreciated. I don't have a TV, and internet is about the only way I get to see these horse races.

Hi bullo. I think it is getting worse in the US. The best race seems to be the Arc de Triomphe. The Melbourne Cup and Japan Cup are worth watching also. The Cox Plate has become rubbish also.
So You Think was not that good, and neither was this field. I suppose that this year will be a repeat of last year, and Flat Out will be favorite. It seems the same old horses without SYT and the winner here. I am slightly interested in how Wise Dan goes, as I understand he is good. The rest of the BC this year is very boring. Maybe the Japan Cup will be better. :)

Four months earlier, Gary Stevens won the "Battle of the Exes" against Chantal Sutherland, and here they finish 1-2.

ESPN is the best at covering horse racing. NBC could be the worst. The FOX coverage isn't much better only one program so we will just have to see.
