I know my mom was pissed when I got one at 20. She said it was our choice but she didn't have to be happy about it. Her revenge for not telling her? I had to hang the Christmas lights in the thorn bushes and since we were going to TSO that night, she took pleasure in the drying effect the pyro technics had. I now have two and she is still not pleased.

There used to be 6 of us, but one person quit. Also everyone in the company had their own love interests that was in the company. 2 members were already in a relationship though. And the guy that was in the relationship left the company. His gf is still here and she's our lawyer. My best friend's role is illustrator, so she draws designs for our books. The company owner's best friend is also an illustrator and he also helps create designs for the books. There were originally 3 males and 3 females. Now there's only 2 males and 3 females, but we still make it work.
My moms also a nurse, but if I found out that she faked the whole “I actually got infected”, I would personally get mad at her, who would purposely make someone’s arm with a rash so that they could be taught a lesson? What if they didn’t tell you and went someplace else to go and “treat” it, then it would be worse.

My mom had me wait until I finished college. For one thing, it's something that's going to permanently drawn on your skin, and some artists don't make it as perfect as they seem. And some people have gotten bad infections for not taking care of it properly. It's definitely something to think twice about
Same, My mom told to be sure that i wanted a tattoo and to make sure it is what I really want as she pointed out that depending on the place you have it the body sags and ruins the tattoo. I now know what i want as a tattoo but also make sure you go to the right place as well.

My mother has a tattoo. Even though it was done by a backyard tattooist as he is known not to be certified and inexperienced.
She never experienced no irritation or infection. My cousin got one when she was 16 with parental permission. And never had a problem. My grandfather got two tattoos. One on each arm and he never experienced infections.
The only problem my mother had with the backyard tattooist was that his excuse was he couldn't see the lettering and ruined my name in her tattoo.
All tattoo parlours must follow duty of care rules. Must be 18 otherwise have parent permission to get a tattoo. That is one. And two. All equipment and utensil needles to BE sterilized before use and never use the same one after the first client.
