Tommy Aldridge only joined Whitesnake on the 1987 tour he is 72 there has been several Drummers before Tommy , Dave Dowle, Ian Paice , Cozy Powell, Annesley Dunbar , Denny Carmassi , Tommy returned in 2003 until Chris Frazier 2007 - 2010 then Brian Tichy 2010 - 2013 Tommy Aldridge - returned 2013 up to present (1987-1990, 2003-2007, 2013 - present) over the years Tommy has played with other bands including Ozzy Osbourne 🤘🏻
Tommy Aldridge is the metal version of Keith Richards. After a certain point he ceased to age. He can't have made a deal with the devil, though, as he is apparently a born again christian. I suspect when he eventually shuffles off this mortal coil he'll simply disintegrate into a pile of dust on the drum stool.

The Coverdale hand thing is a fan favourite- he got into hot water assaulting a fan in 1998 who took the piss out of the plastic surgery. He later apologised and takes on trolls in the crowds these days who are giving him the finger about it still. He responds with the hand on the face to acknowledge the hurt caused. He's since claimed it's all in good fun. The victim of the assault in Taiwan never walked again though.
Ok, can someone explain the Benny's Basement, Benny Harvey and Limmy channels? Consider me a bit boomer confused in a gen-x bag of body fluids. Anyhoo, I had a ticket for the 1987 tour and they were playing in Edinburgh's Playhouse. I fecking forgot, missed the train (lived in the Perthshire boonies, no driving license yet) and my dad wouldn't give me a lift to catch the train from Stirling which wasn't that far. Was right fecked off. I only bought the tickets because of the Coverdale connection, Deep Purple being me and my wee brother's favourite band ever since discovering "Deep Purple in Concert" on a family holiday, on c90 format, and we played it end to end to end, in the back of the car on our own tape player (it was a Vauxhall Viva, it didn't come with a tape player up front). I have many happy memories annoying mum and dad, on camping tours round Thurso, Wick and Tougue, blasting out low fidelity Highway Star. Anyway, the saving on train tickets went towards another Hawkwind expedition who were always a better deal.
'Limmy' is Limmy's official RUclips channel. 'Benny Harvey' is a fan channel made by one of his Twitch subscribers (as far as I know) and is used for uploading Limmy's full Twitch broadcasts and improv stories. 'Benny's Basement' is the same fan I believe and it's a collection or shorter clips of Limmy discussing certain things or 'analysing' random RUclips clips as he often does. Hope that helps!

As a precaution I edit out parts of the VOD that might trigger a copyright claim/strike and upload them here instead if they're interesting enough. I'm not too worried if this channel gets nuked by copyright claims/strikes.
