I sense unequal scales at work here. Reformers must provide uncontrovertible positive evidence from scripture for their position, while Molinists are only required that their philosophical system is theoretically compatible with scripture.

Exactly. This is just one reason why Molinism is a flimsy system.

Yup. I'm so thankful that White focused on the complete lack of foundation for Molinism to answer any theological question, let alone the problem of evil, in his discussion with WLC.
Everyone tries to put Calvinism on the defensive, but their own systems are so full of holes that they fall apart under the slightest scrutiny. Which is why they rarely give a positive case for their view. It's always the same song and dance. Tell some outrageous lie about Calvinism so that we have to spend all our time correcting the other side while they dance around explaining their own system.
I admire that the Reformers laid out everything they believe in the confessions for the whole world to critique. Who among those opposed to Reformed theology are willing to be as transparent about their views?

It's "incontrovertible", not "uncontrovertible". And, I've never heard anyone suggest the double standard you're defining. I only hear Calvinists pretending that their view alone is strictly and simply read from the pages of Scripture.

It is not idolatry. He loves him because he is a brother in Christ. That's what we are supposed to do. Why not interact with what was said in the video instead of just attacking with false accusations?
