Have the ever took this to trial ? I lost my brother in a very tragic way . He committed suicide by driving off a incomplete bridge they were building in our small town . I just want to point this out because some people think that salvation is by works and not grace or that God will only forgive certain sins and he won't forgive other sins but that's not true at all. C B I'm sorry I was married to an LAPD Captain. There's some holes in his story. It sounds like the friend may have called & said " my friends boyfriend bought a gun & he's been acting strange, now I can't get a hold of my friend for such & such of time. " They wouldn't go out unless it was longer than 24 hrs or the caller gave reason to believe his friend was in grave danger. Obviously in this situation the police were right to be wearing riot gear as the person confronted did in fact have a loaded gun. Also there may have been some mental health issues with the boyfriend, maybe he was suicidal. Maybe the friend was afraid of a murder suicide. This could have been worse for Hutch.....you never know. I also know there's an inquiry into every police shooting & the family would have sued if the police had done anything wrong

This irritates me so much. Cops these days don't care about safety. My dad a while back was coming home from work, about a quarter to midnight. The guy driving in front of him was clearly under the influence of something. To make a long story short, the dad called the police, they told my dad to follow him, so they wouldn't lose him. My dad then noticed the cop behind him, without the lights on. So he pulls over. The cop doesn't pass him. So my dad waves him on. He still doesn't pass him. So my dad got out of his truck and said something along the lines of "hey, the guy you want is getting away". Now keep in mind that the cop was told the brand of vehicle, the color of the vehicle, and the license plate of the man that was under the influence of alcohol. The officer then proceeded to pull a gun out onto my dad for no reason. My dad had nothing in his hands, and his hands were completely visible. Situations like these are what cause people to not trust the police and law system.

Devastating! I can't relate to the entire story, but I can relate to a senseless loss of a soulmate. She was my best friend thru middle school and high school. I'd always know I am a bisexual/sexually fluid female. Hell, I knew I liked woman before I even realized i could be attracted to a male. We dated during high school but she didn't come to terms with her sexuality until well into her 20's I digress. My Amanda, our lives after we graduated, kept us busy. When she was single, I wasn't, and vice versa. One day, i was standing outaide of my job at the time, and she surprsied me. It was magic, she grabbed me, kissed me and the music to my ears " we'll never be apart again"...it was like no time had passed. We were so in love, and best friends too. At this time, 2011, same sex marriagw wasn't even on the horizon, but we had planned a commitment ceremony...life was so good. To each other, we were always "the one that got away" except we were reunited! Happy. In love, with our own little family. We didn't get our ceremony,we would have gotten married if fate hadn't been cruel. You see, she'd always, in her late teens to mid 20s had problems with high blood pressure and poorly managed taking her medications. This cost Her life. Her son a mother and cost me my soulmate. She was driving down a country road, had a stroke at the wheel, lost control of Her truck- flipped,rolled, and crashed into a tree. She didn't die on impact, ok spare the gory details, but within 24 hours, she was brain-dead. Ironically. I'd convinved her to be an organ donor, several years prior, when i took her to get her ID when we turned 18. The only "good, was they were able to give SO MUCH of her,as a donor, to save and/or drastically improve so many other's lives. Even though this was 7 years ago, and i am now married, i think of her everyday and sometimes day dream about how are lives would be. Well, that's how i can relate. Losing someone you're so in with,..forever changes your life,mind..and heart! ... .

There were many major holes, but the two that stuck out to me the most was when he said that they came into the bedroom, guns drawn and all of a sudden a shootout occurs. He says that somehow he gets out of the room and walks down the stairs, they walked outside saw the blood, started feeling faint and passed out on the driveway. I've never been in a shootout, but I'll tell you this I find it very hard to believe he's somehow just walked out of the room after the shooting, walked down the stairs and passed out on the lawn. That makes absolutely no sense. Another thing, he said when he was in the hospital and he was walking out that the police officers told all the media that was waiting outside, hey, this is the kid who got shot! While I really don't believe a police officer would do that, if the media was there at that point and there were so many, why were there no pictures of him coming out of the hospital? Why were there no stories about him per se. I could be wrong, and maybe I missed it but after this video I looked up several Google pages of the story. They don't ever mention this kid my name, and there's no pictures of him anywhere. Those were the two inconsistencies that really stuck out to me the most.

C B I'm sorry I was married to an LAPD Captain. There's some holes in his story. It sounds like the friend may have called & said " my friends boyfriend bought a gun & he's been acting strange, now I can't get a hold of my friend for such & such of time. " They wouldn't go out unless it was longer than 24 hrs or the caller gave reason to believe his friend was in grave danger. Obviously in this situation the police were right to be wearing riot gear as the person confronted did in fact have a loaded gun. Also there may have been some mental health issues with the boyfriend, maybe he was suicidal. Maybe the friend was afraid of a murder suicide. This could have been worse for Hutch.....you never know. I also know there's an inquiry into every police shooting & the family would have sued if the police had done anything wrong

This irritates me so much. Cops these days don't care about safety. My dad a while back was coming home from work, about a quarter to midnight. The guy driving in front of him was clearly under the influence of something. To make a long story short, the dad called the police, they told my dad to follow him, so they wouldn't lose him. My dad then noticed the cop behind him, without the lights on. So he pulls over. The cop doesn't pass him. So my dad waves him on. He still doesn't pass him. So my dad got out of his truck and said something along the lines of "hey, the guy you want is getting away". Now keep in mind that the cop was told the brand of vehicle, the color of the vehicle, and the license plate of the man that was under the influence of alcohol. The officer then proceeded to pull a gun out onto my dad for no reason. My dad had nothing in his hands, and his hands were completely visible. Situations like these are what cause people to not trust the police and law system.

Devastating! I can't relate to the entire story, but I can relate to a senseless loss of a soulmate. She was my best friend thru middle school and high school. I'd always know I am a bisexual/sexually fluid female. Hell, I knew I liked woman before I even realized i could be attracted to a male. We dated during high school but she didn't come to terms with her sexuality until well into her 20's I digress. My Amanda, our lives after we graduated, kept us busy. When she was single, I wasn't, and vice versa. One day, i was standing outaide of my job at the time, and she surprsied me. It was magic, she grabbed me, kissed me and the music to my ears " we'll never be apart again"...it was like no time had passed. We were so in love, and best friends too. At this time, 2011, same sex marriagw wasn't even on the horizon, but we had planned a commitment ceremony...life was so good. To each other, we were always "the one that got away" except we were reunited! Happy. In love, with our own little family. We didn't get our ceremony,we would have gotten married if fate hadn't been cruel. You see, she'd always, in her late teens to mid 20s had problems with high blood pressure and poorly managed taking her medications. This cost Her life. Her son a mother and cost me my soulmate. She was driving down a country road, had a stroke at the wheel, lost control of Her truck- flipped,rolled, and crashed into a tree. She didn't die on impact, ok spare the gory details, but within 24 hours, she was brain-dead. Ironically. I'd convinved her to be an organ donor, several years prior, when i took her to get her ID when we turned 18. The only "good, was they were able to give SO MUCH of her,as a donor, to save and/or drastically improve so many other's lives. Even though this was 7 years ago, and i am now married, i think of her everyday and sometimes day dream about how are lives would be. Well, that's how i can relate. Losing someone you're so in with,..forever changes your life,mind..and heart!

I hate to say it but I agree. There were many major holes, but the two that stuck out to me the most was when he said that they came into the bedroom, guns drawn and all of a sudden a shootout occurs. He says that somehow he gets out of the room and walks down the stairs, they walked outside saw the blood, started feeling faint and passed out on the driveway. I've never been in a shootout, but I'll tell you this I find it very hard to believe he's somehow just walked out of the room after the shooting, walked down the stairs and passed out on the lawn. Especially when he was saying they were helicopters and snipers everywhere. There is no way that happened! I don't know if he is lying because there are more intimate details of that situation and he just didn't want to divulge? Or he just doesn't remember because he was so sketched out about everything that was happening! I'll tell you this he's not going to be able to walk through a bedroom door with police officers and guns drawn after a shooting, and casually walk down the stairs walk outside where there's a bunch of snipers and helicopters and just start passing out. That makes absolutely no sense. Another thing, he said when he was in the hospital and he was walking out that the police officers told all the media that was waiting outside, hey, this is the kid who got shot! While I really don't believe a police officer would do that, if the media was there at that point and there were so many, why were there no pictures of him coming out of the hospital? Why were there no stories about him per se. I could be wrong, and maybe I missed it but after this video I looked up several Google pages of the story. They don't ever mention this kid my name, and there's no pictures of him anywhere. Those were the two inconsistencies that really stuck out to me the most.
By the way, one more thing the police officer that was hit, was shot she was shot in the arm. Not in the face. That bothered me too
