This is a video I filmed back in February. my ex cheated on me our first 3 years together and I didn't come across Collin til the 5th year. The thing about US GIRLS is that once a guy shows interest in us (and we find him cute) we're willing to make things slide and our minds unconsciously doesn't even notice these warning sings the guy is giving us. When you're finally done with the guy or have the courage to stop talking to him or he hurts us, we FINALLY notice these signs, like "WAIT how was i such an idiot i didn't even know/notice what he was doing, i didn't notice these warning signs that were supposed to make me GET OUT OF THE SITUATION"!
sooo many girls who are crushing on this guy or are in a relationship with their boyfriends tend to never notice these red flags that warn us that we shouldn't even be interacting with that person.
ALSO we don't know our self worth enough, we don't love ourselves enough and we feel empty because we THINK that our missing pieces are found in that other person or people in general. THESE other people might make us feel good about ourselves and make us feel happy BUT WE fill in the emptiness from the feelings they give us. NEVER EVER FEEL LIKE YOU WONT FIND A BETTER GUY BECAUSE YOU WILL. NEVER EVER FEEL LIKE THERE ISN'T BETTER OUT THERE BECAUSE WHEN THAT BETTER PERSON/PEOPLE COME YOU'RE GOING TO FEEL LIKE SUCH A FOOL. NEVER FEEL IMPRISONED BY ONE PERSON OR A GROUP OF PEOPLE THINKING YOU WON'T FIND BETTER, BECAUSE THATS LABELING YOURSELF. i had a friend who was scared of breaking up with her boyfriend because she was scared she wouldn't find anyone who would accept and love her, but she was so wrong. these guys who text you, the one u put up with so much because you're scared no one else will talk to you or that you'll feel lonely, they should go somewhere they belong because they don't belong in YOUR life.

Everyone makes mistakes. Gabi should have ended things first but she probably was feeling very lost and alone.
I'm not very old and I've had zero experience with dating and relationships (I'm 14) but I have a very strong opinion on all of this that as girls we are strong and we should all be confident in ourselves and love ourselves because we deserve it and you don't need a guy to make you feel like you belong in the world especially if he's treating you badly. If your in a difficult relationship and you feel trapped, be strong you can get through it you have enough power to leave him and be happy because that's what you deserve. I've never had a boyfriend so I can't speak from personal experience but I know that there are a lot of people out there struggling to get out of toxic relationships. Just know that if you are going through a bad time in your life whoever you are girl or boy, young or old just know that you have control over your own life and you shouldn't let anybody stop you from being happy

You had tears forming in my eyes. GIRL, I went through the exact same bs. I ended it at 2 years so I have no idea how you had the strength to put up with his shit as long as you did. Another reason I love watching your channel is because I've always been a HUGE girly girl. I was with someone who was constantly comparing me to other girls and asking if I would try ___ hairstyle/clothing/makeup like "the girl I saw ____". I was constantly trying new things to appease him and he constantly found something else to "help" me. He said I owned too much florals LOL. Too much blush in my closet, my hair would look better short, why did I bring winnie the pooh to my college dorm? He equated me being girly to me being not woman enough for him and always tried to find a "real woman" elsewhere. I even gained weight because he liked "thick" girls and my 105 lb ass was allll of the booty but little to no hips/bust AT ALL 😂😂 People ask us why we stayed so long... but the truth is that this can happen to anyone. You can be the smartest, prettiest, kindest, funniest person he has ever known, and it still wouldn't be enough because it is NOT YOU. It was always THEM and their own issues. OMG Thank you so much! I'm going through something like that right now, and this really made me feel better about it. I'm feeling very lost and alone. And I have no one to talk to about it. And my parents love him too, and they're not siding with me on this, even though he toyed with me for 4 years, and hurt my feelings a billion times. I got him a 1050$ guitar, and a car. I helped him get into college and there he met this other girl. And after that he just started being mean to me, and he physically and emotionally abused me. Like it got to a point where I can't even watch movies anymore because I can't handle being hurt. I'm depressed and I'm seeing a therapist. This was a few months ago but I'm still hurting. And I finally can talk to someone about it.
