    I have a kitchenaid that doesn't tilt back & would like to see more videos for this type of machine. I got a little creative & made some cucumber lemon sorbet. I don't use it as much as I should!

    This is the best ice cream I have ever had. I took this ice cream to a party and everyone loved it. It was so easy to make. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this ice cream - everyone needs to make this. Could you please give us more ice cream recipes- Peach - Banana Nut?

      Susan Hebert, Used to love Baskin Robin's banna nut ice cream, they don't sell it anymore. Definitely going to give it a whirl with our new Kitchenaid 5qt stand mixer!

    I had to watch this twice. Unless I missed it, we didn’t talk about freezing your bowl.

  • @Digbydeege
    @Digbydeege 10 лет назад +4

    Yes, glad to see that someone spotted that
    You have to freeze the mixing bowl first !!
    But I don't think it's necessary to freeze your bowel too Chica ;-)

      The guide teaches you to freeze the bowl and it's care. This video was about making ice cream.

  • @Happyhippy70
    @Happyhippy70 3 года назад +1

    Read the manual for your bowl before using. Watch tips. This bowl if prepped properly can do two batches. Always thaw completely before putting it in and water to clean. Small shallow tins with lined Saran wrap. Allows for fast freezing, easy removal. I put the tin on a gel frozen pack so when I pour it stays stiff.
    I do personal containers for my mom. Never have to eat chemical engineered ice cream again. Never forget the day my son forgot to put the ice cream in the fridge. Open that lid up on it, only to see that it didn't even melt. Scary stuff

    I would love to see how you use this attachment with a Kitchenaid that does not tilt back - like mine.

      It works, mine drops on it. I don't have the tilt. I had the little one. Now I have a 600 and 900. Almost the same. Kitchen aid is awesome.

    Left out of this video:you need to freeze the bowl for about 15 hours before using.

    • @Happyhippy70
      @Happyhippy70 3 года назад

      24 is best, when done making ice cream,ect. Just leave to completely thaw before washing and freezing again. I'm sure you do. But for knew people, I mention. I usually have double ingredients and 2 batches ready. I used plastic wrap to line the container, which is a shallow tin foil square. Putting a frozen gel pack under the tin. Easy to lift cut and serve. I just got mine on mothers day. This is my sixth time using it. I'm so happy, oh and a bendable container for pouring into the bowl. Especially if you have the stand mixer that raises up instead of lifting back. I was thinking of a pour funnel should have been added to this bowl. Lol

      This video wasn't about the bowl. It's about making ice cream. The recipe is amazing.

      Read the manual. That's what the manual does. She's about a recipe, not teaching you how to care for your bowl.

    • @AJohnson0325

      no. The mixer has to be able to accept a 4.5L bowl or larger according to the home shopping network.

    Kitchenaid is the worst company I ever dealt with.
    They only care about selling their products and can't be bothered with their customers when problems arises Out to make a buck and their quality isn't what it once was.
    Went with another company who stand by their products and not the money alone.
