Loved your detailed review of the ADIDAS Duramo SL, Stelvio, dear friend. Your insights are spot-on and super helpful for anyone looking to make a choice. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more reviews from you, dear friend!
Thank you for the reviews of this line of shoes. When I found your channel, I was looking at both the Duramo Speed and the Duramo SL. I ordered the Speed based on your positive reviews and then this video dropped the next day.😄But after watching this and with about 20 km in the Duramo Speeds, I feel good about buying them. I like the light and cushioned feeling so they were probably the right choice for me over the heavier, firmer model. I'll be interested in seeing how your thoughts on the SL evolve when you've spent more time in them though.
Yes, this model was requested from different subscribers of the channel, therefore I thought it is a good idea to test it out. So far I haven't ran too much miles on it, but in this moment I prefer the Speed. Of course I could change my mind once I run more miles on it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@runningwithstelvio i guess i won't get the duramo speed anymore. they are more or less almost the same. i think what i need is a stability shoe. because i have mild pronation
@@josephpaulodiaz5499 The Duramo Speed is wider in the heel, so a bit more stable. I forgot to say that in the video. But for the pronation maybe it is better a shoe with a support for the pronation
@@runningwithstelvio thankyou I'll subscribe so I can stay up to date, just bought this pair and I'm really looking forward to using them thanks again 🙏🏻
Hey, i recently bought a pair of these, they feel great but my concern is the durability of both sizes, exactly where the mesh creases when you flex the shoe (for example while doing a split squat). Im scared of the glue giving up. How many Km do you think it should last ? Greetings from Argentina
Hi, thanks for your comment and for the greetings, this is my same concern. I'm not sure yet about the durability, I'll tell you something after 100 miles, but I hope at least 300 miles
I looked at the Adidas shop but since it is a previous year model it seems it is not available any longer. But there are some similar models you might have a look at
They have too many foams and many of them are undistinguished EVA variants. I think Lightmotion is probably is just another name for EVA: Boost Boost Light (or Boost 2.0) Repetitor Repetitor+ Repetitor 2.0 (Adistar 3.0) Lightstrike Lightstrike 2.0 Lighstrike Pro Lightstrike Pro (PEBA based, Evo 1) DreamStrike+ (was there ever Dreamstrike ?) Lightmotion (Duramo SL)
Hello there. I saw your channel and I really like the it content hehe. I am new in a world of "pure" running. Most of my life I was playing football and futsal, but I think over time that I would like to spend some time just running around the block and slowly progress for longer distances. I am currently looking for my first budget shoes. Here is some of the list of one that catch my eye ordered by price, but feel free to suggest any other models in that price range too. Which of those would be a best deal for the cost? I will wrote current price in Serbia converted to USD for better overview. Thanks! Adidas Duramo 10 30$ Adidas Ultrabounce 40$ Adidas Duramo SL 50$ Adidas Duramo Speed 60$ Adidas Pureboost 22 60$ Adidas Pureboost 23 68$ Nike Pegasus 40 77$
The foam looks horrendous, the upper looks like thick jacket and i ve been runnin in adidas lightstrike pro and it s firm as fuck so this must be the brick of bricks :))))))).
It is not so bad actually. I didn't reach the 100miles yet, but I already can say that it is not that bad as you described. Of course my purpose in this channel is exactly to test it out and tell you my opinion before you buy it. So I would wait the 100miles review before to say it is a brick of bricks 😅 Of course it is a budget shoe so I don't have high expectations but still I believe it worths to try and tell you if it is a deal or not.
Way too heavy, drop way to high, not a good shoe, wouldn't reccomend for any type of runner. It's the typical feels fast, slows you down, feels comfy hurts your joints in the long run shoe.... sorry, no
I understand your comment, It is heavier than other shoes, but I want to try it out and give it a chance, considering the lower price. After 100miles I will collect all my thoughts and impressions about it. That was the same I did with the Duramo Speed, which is for me a great value for money after almost 200miles
Speed is way more better, but...for begginer and someone who only jog, a great choice🎉Btw, i cought Prime X Strung yesterday....uuuu...what a shoe, but very very instabile...scary but good, btw, i dropped 50k in 4h1min on Croatia nationals in Boston 11, now i have 62k and 350nmv road Ultra, its famous Croatian race, called Zagreb - Čazma

Thank you so much Mihai, for your support since the starting of the channel. I really appreciate it my friend 😊🙏🏃🏻♂️
Great video. Really appreciate you reviewing these shoes that not many others look at.
Thank you. Running is and should remain for everyone, and not only for the fews. That's why I like these kind of shoes
it's the only decent available in shopes wherever i look -.-, no bostons, no takumis, no adioses where I am zzz.
@@metalsadman I see, look if they have the Duramo Speed as well

Im not looking for running shoes but i just need some shoes that are comfortable for school and stuff are these comfortable just standing around in
I believe that for just walking around is not bad, but in terms of comfort there are better options out there. Duramo speed is better in this regard
@@runningwithstelvio I'm gonna get those then thanks
@@JudeIammarino no problem, thanks for watching
Which one do u prefer ? DURAMO SL or RESPONSE 3.0? For road running.
Unfortunately I can tell you only about the Duramo SL, a new video after 100miles will be uploaded soon. I haven’t ran with the Response 3.0 🤷♂️
Hi. My normal size is 8.5UK. Should I size up to 9UK for this duramo SL ?

Addidas quester 2 is better than duramo sl.
