Six year old me didn't get the part of "you must be 18 or older to call" so when I called and they asked about my age, all they said was "we'll send them right now". It's been over a decade and I'm still waiting for my Zoobooks.
I was about ten years old when Zoobooks were released. Even amongst the most ardent animal lovers I knew in my school, not a single one of them, myself included, had or got Zoobooks. Yet, the commercials were on all the time. My friends and I had the running joke, "On a scale of 1 to Zoobooks" to state the likelihood of us getting something :P
Damn im 26 years old as I type this and man.. I used to see this commercial at least 5 times a day watching billy and mandy, ed edd n eddy, spongebob, all of those early 2000s shows.. Man i wish i could go back..
Probably why so many of us can still recite these commercials word for word, even after so many years. As soon as I stumbled upon this, nostalgia hit me like a train. Couldn't help saying the lines as he did. lol
Next bumper (Elevator; Weekday afternoon green) Tom Clark: Coming up next! It’s Rainbow Rita (2:00). Followed by The Berry Crusaders (2:30). On Cartoon Network. Commercial starts 0:01
Man I actually saw the shorter version a lot more than this one. I've only seen this one I think a total of 3-5 times on air. Do they still actually make Zoobooks anymore?
Haha, I was 8 when these came out, if it was early 2001. I had a few of them as a kid. The shark, wolf and tiger ones, if I recall. They were neat. They're probably buried in storage somewhere, though.
I don't have very fond memories of this commercial. The sheep toy at the end scared the living crap out of me and the girl's voice and music doesn't help, the music with the teacher and Phillip doesn't help (Plus, when Phillip says, "They're cool", his face is a little creepy.), and the announcer saying the number at the end, along with the music, also doesn't help.

The mailman who passes by my house every day is actually a good friend of mine. ^_^
@@MrGojira95 lucky I actually had a good friend that worked at GameStop when I was a kid
I swear, this used to air every commercial break in the early 2000s. Life was simpler then. Wish I could go back
How I miss the 2000s.. :(

0:14 the horned shark managed to escape the angel shark.
He did!? How do you know this?
Absolutely mad video! Keep it up!
Steamy jungles and grassy plains. The dark depths of the oceans and the frozen arctic wilderness.
It's been years, I've forgotten about them.
That lamb in the background, creeps me out for some reason when I was a kid, and it still do now.
IT CREEPED ME OUT, TOO! Also, the girl’s voice and the music playing isn’t much better.
I always wanted that Goddamn *THE TIGER POSTER TM*
Hey I had it tho but when I was 8 I lost it due to being clumsy.
I was recently reminded of this
Watching the 101 Dalmatians TV Show and seeing this commercial in the weekend morning in 2006 was the highlight of life lol❤

I remember seeing this on Cartoon Network a lot back when I was younger
I even remember the music in this commercial
Just learned that the fish eating the shark was an Angel shark lol. And ran here cause I remembered it on the zoo books commercials 😂

I'm Remember That Commericial Aired During A Rerun Of The New Scooby-Doo Movies Episode The Haunted Candy Factory With Mama Cass Elliot
This is the version I remember most.
Every time I see the words "They're great!" together, I read them exactly like the girl at 1:38
I swear I'm cursed lol
I'm surprised you read it like this girl instead of reading it like Tony the Tiger lol

They're still making them. Their official website has been updated this year.
There’s a shorter version?

I wish I knew if Zoobooks would ever make a Comeback.

I had only the tiger zoobook and I had the massive sticker or the picture of it from the book but it was lost so is the book oof.
I’ve NEVER seen this version!

I have been skeptical about these zoobooks
Saw that ad when I was 15
I remember this.
Wow. Just realize these kids are almost 30 or older by now.
[ZoobookS]
I feel like a boomer watching a near 20 year old commercial about animal magazines.
At the end of the commercial when they say to order, how come they say that the person must be 18 years of older to call?
cause you have to be a legal adult to order anything
