How well is the paint holding up? Just curious how strong it is and if it chips.

The Cerakote has held up very well! No chips or pealing. Of course it’s all about the prep work making sure to get it as close to the bare metal as possible. The only blemishes I have are from user error spraying the Cerakote too heavy in some areas. Be sure to start with a very light coat and add light coats until you have a nice even coat.

Did you put it in the oven right after the paint or did you let it dry a little first?

It can go into the oven right after coating it. However, be sure to have the part fully prepped before applying the Cerakote i.e. a metal hanger or another method running through the part that you can use to hang on the oven grate.
      Thanks!

Let It dry first is the proper way....

Looks great. Did it stink up your house using the oven? Might do the same

There is an odor but it’s not overwhelming. Would definitely recommend good ventilation and a night out for the wife ;-)
