      Clemson still leads in the series 4-1. Doesn't speak well of Ohio State being so far behind.

    • @RosscoFAM
      @RosscoFAM 2 года назад +2

      Chill dude, ur acting like OSU is down 20 games in this series. theyve only met 5 times and OSU blew em out in this game (2020) and were on their way to a route in 2019 (OSU was up 16-0 while Clemson couldn't slow OSU offense, especially Dobbins) when the unbelievable happened. We all remember: OSU got a huge sack on 3rd and long meaning they woulda got the ball back and likely put the game at 19-0 or 22-0 at halftime). Instead 1 bad call changed the whole game, instead of 4th and 25 and getting the ball up 19-0, OSU got called for a terrible targeting call, got a critical NFL corner ejected (wade) and gave clemson life - don't forget there was NO PENALTY called on the field, this was overturned by the booth which rarely happens). So Instead the WHOLE momentum changed (yes football isn't a game of momentum that can change in 1 play) and instead the new life for Clemson made it 16-14 at half. Then Dobbins got hurt who Clemson had no answer for btw. And the cherry on top of course was that reversed catch and fumble TD that was called a fumble and TD ON THE FIELD and would've gave OSU the lead was reversed again by the booth - lol u really can't make this stuff up as every neutral person could see it was a catch n fumble including the commentators and booth ref. Despite all that OSU still had a chance to win it but a miscommunication caused a interception. I'm a person who.NEVER blames a ref for my team losing. But You can watch football another 20 years and not see that happen again - 2 critical moment penalties get CHANGED by the booth from what they were called on the field. That's why in 30 years of watching football it was the first time I felt the better team lost and OSU held that ass whooping inside and beat them the next year like a seething vengeful ex girlfriend getting her cheating ex back. So it really should be a 2-3 series but it's okay they'll meet again and OSU will eventually add more wins.

    This is one of the greatest performances I’ve ever seen from a college quarterback. Forget that it was the best performance of Fields’s career, he was playing hurt for most of it. His toughness is second to none in this draft class. He’s fantastic, and he’d be a PERFECT fit for Kyle Shanahan’s offense.

      Yeah and Dan Orlovsky said "he doesn't have a desire to be great". All I'm thinking is how laughable that is. He took quite possibly the most brutal rib shot you'll ever see in a football game and then turned around and threw 4 TDs and like 250 yards against one of the best teams in the country. A starting QB that had a record of 34-1 at the time. Comment he made was absolutely delusional.

    Fields was playing against a Clemson team that had its worst O-line in years, and 9 starters were missing. It was especially noticeable in the 2nd quarter when Clemsons two star defensive signal callers were out the entire quarter... the Clemson defense got confused and were outscored 21-0 in the 2nd quarter. The 1st, 3rd, and 4th quarters both teams scored the same exact equal number of points. Justin Fields had an average of 4.8 seconds of pass protection in that game. One of Clemsons worst O-lines ever only afforded Trevor Lawrence an average of 2.9 seconds of pass protection in that game, and just like the entire season Travis Etienne was given very poor blocking and had to rely on himself when running the ball and osu knowing that keyed on Etienne and Clemsons run game was very bad in all but 2 or 3 games that season. Anyway ... Clemson beat Notre Dame in the ACC Championship game far worse than Alabama beat Notre Dame in the other National Semi-final game. The next week Alabama opened up a can of whoopazz on the osu Buckies so bad that they should have used high school Mercy rules and used a running clock in the last quarter and a half to ease the embarrassing beatdown. Alabama could have used that same Mercy rule when Clemson blitzed the Tide 44-16 in Trevor Lawrences Freshman season. BOOOOOMMMMmmmmm !

    I just watched a couple of videos of Fields, Lance and Wilson vs some teams. And I think Wilson is better as far as read and quick release and footwork. Fields is not bad at read and throw either but a bit slow at releasing the ball but Lance is the worst to me in terms of reading and throwing. As far as the running game, I think Lance is the most dangerous and I put Fields and Wilson on equal as ground game (both ain't bad at running in terms of speed). So, overall as a Niners fan, I think they should pick either Wilson or Fields. Initially, I thought they should pick Lance but after seeing some of these games, his read and throw accuracy under pressure is not good at all.

    • @TheWokeSportsFan
      @TheWokeSportsFan  3 года назад +8

      Fields runs a low 4.4. Wilson is a 4.6 at best and prolly 4.7. Fields is much more athletic than both. Remember Lance is running vs 1AA guys so he looks faster. Even then he wasn't a blazer out there.
      Fields to me is QB1. Sadly though I think yall will take Lance. Lance is raw af, and doesn't give me confidence as a passer. Even when he runs he doesn't slide. I just think Lance is a hype job.

    I just watched this after watching CJ Stroud play against Georgia and Fields is certainly a more physical QB with a stronger arm than Stroud. I don't follow the Bears but something must be wrong with their offence. Today on ESPN the subject was trading Fields for two draft choices and using one to pick Bryce Young. Bryce Young is an accurate passer but I predict his NFL career is going to be limited. I would like to see Fields stay in Chicago and figure it out. Stroud - Texans - oh no.

    • @TheWokeSportsFan
      @TheWokeSportsFan  Год назад

      Yea its sad man. People have forgotten that Fields was scouted so high bc of his arm talent. Most didnt even know he could run like he has. The Bears have the worst oline and WR core and had a rookie OC and Playcaller which honestly was really bad at his job. If they move on from Fields it would be a awful decision. Thanks for the support. More content coming soon about Fields and Stroud bc they are talking cray about them.

    OSU held that ass whooping in for 12 months and took it out on them like a vengeful ex girlfriend because they know the rob job that happened in 2019 when they met in that classic. If u don't let me refresh ur memory:
    These teams have met 5 times it should be 2-3 Clemson not 4-1. This game 2020 OSU blew Clemson out in this game and were on their way to a route in the huge 2019 game. If u recall OSU was up 16-0 while Clemson couldn't slow the OSU offense, especially Dobbins) when the unbelievable happened. We all remember: OSU got a huge sack on 3rd and long on a great corner blitz play call meaning they woulda got the ball back and likely put the game at 19-0 or 22-0 before halftime. Instead 1 call (that later turned into 3) changed the whole game because instead of it being 4th and 20 and OSU getting the ball up 19-0 with momentum they got called for a terrible targeting call and had a critical NFL corner ejected (wade) and gave clemson life. The worst part is don't forget there was NO PENALTY called on the field (clean sack) but this was overturned by the booth which rarely happens unless ia penalty was blatantly missed. Instead Clemson was given new life (wade ejected also) and the WHOLE momentum changed (yes football is a game of momentum that can change in 1 play) and instead the new life for Clemson made it 16-14 at half. Then Dobbins got hurt and couldn't move and who Clemson had no answer for btw. But the cherry on top of course was that reversed catch and fumble TD that was called a fumble and TD ON THE FIELD and would've gave OSU the lead was AGAIN reversed by the booth - lol u really can't make this stuff up as every neutral person could see it was a catch n fumble including the commentators and booth ref who said the right call was made on the field. Despite all that OSU still had a chance to win it but a miscommunication caused a interception. I'm a person who.NEVER blames a ref for my team losing - just call it the same for both teams and eventually the penalties even out in the end. But You can watch football another 20 years and not see 2 critical penalties get CHANGED by the booth from what they were called on the field, hell you rarely see it happen once. That's why in 30 years of watching football it was the first time I felt the better team lost. If it was a regular season game oh well sh** happens but it was the semifinal game meaning those were the best refs on the field and for the booth to reverse TWO critical calls against OSU was unbelievable. So it really should be a 2-3 series but it's okay they'll meet again and OSU will eventually add more wins.
