After watching this video, I understand how to create materials from images. However, I do not know how to use this data from the materials list on the left side in Layering mode. What steps are necessary?
If they're stored in the library they should appear if you assign a category like "Materials" or "Patterns". But you can also drag and drop your material from the package navigator on a layer input! 🤌
@@yyyyy-hc1ew In case you're still stuck on this, the relevant .imp file containing the material you created has to be saved to the instamat library path. The default for a windows install of instamat is /$user/Documents/Instamat/Library, but check your preferences (ctrl-P) to be sure. I think you can also define paths in your preferences if you prefer to keep your .IMP files somewhere else. Once that's done, you can easily filter your materials to show only the ones you've created in the left sidebar: MAT library at the top -> materials -> click the little man icon on the left to Show Only User Library Content. From there you can assign more categories by right-clicking the material.
Thanks for this! Great work as always.
Amazing! Great tutorial :)
Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation and process steps.
This siftware is amazing.
Blown away by this well thought out material process. Glad to see AI being implemented where it really counts. Great work guys and thank you!:)
My mind is blown! Gonna introduce to our college and all our juniors to start learning this asap

@@InstaMAT_io Thank you very much.
I was able to find "Save to Package" and "Save Project", but where do I go to "Save to Library"?
