The pacers rarely get a friendly whistle so they have to plan on being ahead by 10+ or they will lose. The league doesn't want small city teams going far because it hurts their pocketbook.

So when your stars get hurt there's really isnt any good role players to back up. Knicks got about 7 or 8 good or better players. Pacers got like 12.
