    I use baking soda (without the sugar) to brush my teeth. Baking soda has a high pH which helps to neutralize the acids that bacteria are fond of creating.

    Not all ants are attracted to sugar, there are also ones who dont like suger but like Proteins like Chicken etc ... of course the easy way to sell is leave a little meat out and a little Honey and which ever they go after is the type of ant you have to deal with, If it is protein just take old meat, Dried is good, in a food processor etc to make it fine as possible to mix with the baking soda or Boric acid.

    I use borax and white sugar.

    • @pinemeadowshobbyfarmafruga8319
      @pinemeadowshobbyfarmafruga8319  6 месяцев назад +1

      That works well also -HOWEVER- I have to be cautious with the use of Borax as it is toxic to honey bees while the baking soda is actually beneficial for the honey bee.

    FYI sugar doesn't work on protein or grease ants lol but if you add some peanut butter that has protein and grease because there are 3 types of ants sugar, protein and grease/oil and adding peanut butter to the sugar and baking soda. that covers all 3 types

    Sounds good, but I have honeybees. Are they attracted to this as well?

    This stuff WORKS! Although I had used regular sugar and did not make a slurry. I just sprinkled a generous amount along the crack in the concrete where the ants were. They were gone. I will try it this way, too. Look at them all lined up around it like a little army. Sorry, ants.
