Weird. Probably have 30+ 4s pack through the stock esc and it has held up. Maybe if a guy is literally full trigger all the time every time it’ll blow… Side note: put a horizon hobby 90A Esc and on 4s the boat ran slower than stock 3s The horizon 90A never even got warm… But… back to the stock esc and it rips on 4s

I’ve ran mine stock on 4s LiHV packs from smc without issue. They may have changed the sec recently, as I just bought it.
What 3s lipo you used? What C rating? Regards
The 3s was just the original battery that cane with the boat
