Fun build, but I am really lacking Damage after the transition to Empowered. I mean, I am still progression, but its slow af to kill any rare mobs. Looking forward to your update to maybe get some ideas of gear progression between bad and absolute premium endgame (1LE Red Rings?)
Thx a lot i'm hyped by your build. I'm a new play (MG) and i'm not sure which perfect affix are really mandatory on unique item. Like how bad do I want "increased spark explosion area" on Enigma or "mana spent gained on ward" on Strand? Would be really nice if you could tell us which affix need to be perfect and which affix we don't care about. Maybe in a video or on a planner i don't know, if you have the time, ty.
The most important affix is INT for anything that can have INT, mana spent gained as ward for anything that can have that, mana / spell critical strike chance for anything that has that, reduced bonus damage from crits to as close to 100 as possible, cooldown recovery speed, then resists.
How much tooltip cd on teleport do you get with the build? Looks quite good but I'm a bit afraid might feel clunky due to the spender/builder with teleport + meteor. Also getting snap freeze on bar instead of focus makes more sense.
You can get TP to 4-5 seconds. It works out to something like 50 ish mana regen per second. Plus the new refund node in the sorc tree / a little bit back from gift of winter in FC. You should be able to cast pretty consistently. And with the big mana pool you can dump a huge load onto a boss when you want. I agree snap freeze probably better in general, I wasn't 100% sold on focus as we probably don't want to be low mana. If you are spam casting a lot focus might be better for the instant 400+ mana recovery every 7 seconds or something. That's also an option. You could probably drop the meteor tech if you did that with a big enough mana pool.
Hopefully more, you get a huge amount of inc % for free from our int stacking, and we will have a good chunk of crit multi, and some more multi, and some shred / pen
I'm not sure what will be better yet. Ladle will probably be higher damage overall, and more benefit from the ailments it applies, but Dragorath Claw will instantly detonate spark charges which means you damage gets applied faster, you will get hit less most likely. Dragorath also has %all resistance and crit multiplier. I'll be trying both.
@@FrozenSentinel Have you considered/evaluated Lightning Blast's skill tree node for Blind? With dragorath generating lightning blasts we essentially immediately apply blind to targets, which makes them unable to crit. So far it applies reliably by my eye, and would allow us to skip crit reduction suffixes altogether on gear.
@@Msuix-jj5oj until you get crit by a spire or anything else from offscreen, or a boss you haven't hit in the last couple seconds, or anything that damages you before one of your lightning blasts has applied blind, or anything that does damage / can crit but can't be blinded - it's just not reliable enough
Would love to see you make a lethal mirage bladedancer with the new 2h sword. Im trying to plan it out but I'm not confident I know enough to make it work!
I personally wouldn't start with Frost Claw, but I know some people do. I feel like leveling will be easier with another skill until Frost Claw comes online.
how much worse would the regular frost claw runemaster be compared to this to which you showed a guide a few days ago? Im thinking sticking to the regular frostclaw runemaster just because i enjoy spamming frost claw without running out of mana every few casts having to use focus and what not before being able to use it again.
They will play very differently, this one will have slow high damage bursts, and generate ward based on spell cost / mana stack. That one will have many many low damage bursts very quickly, with some ward per cast, and some ward from runic invo. The RM one is more safe as it's a build we've played before with some minor changes, this one is a bit of a wildcard. It could be S+++ tier or it could be really janky. On paper this one looks really strong
@@FrozenSentinel i see, im probably going to stick with the RM one. i saw that you are using boneclamor barbute on the sorc one, couldnt you use it aswell on the RM one instead of pristmatic gaze for more int and just use two of the new +% base crit rings to get the crit chance you would have gotten from prismatic gaze, wouldnt that be better?
@@FrozenSentinel Ill start leveling with glacier, at what level would you switch to frost claw with the RM version? should i wait until i got at least enigma?
Enigma should have gotten the bat, one item scales 10k flat dmg lol. For the good of the game it shouldn't be a thing but since it wasn't touched its off to the races baby.
What about using Ward gained on traversal based on missing mana, converting Focus to a traversal skill and using OOM focus tech? You couldn't use this with teleport + meteor refund tech, but perhaps this could replace it while also being a way to generate ward? Alternatively, maybe that mod could be useful even with the teleport tech, you're probably going to use the teleport refund setup when you're low on mana, so that mod should give you 500-1k ward on using teleport.
Yup its an option, the problem is the oom tech adds a big cooldown to focus which doesnt feel good for your main traversal. I think you probably want to aim for low mana and drop the "ward based on current mana when you cast a 40 mana spell" nodes in the sorc tree and run focus with experimental, or you aim for full mana and do meteor tech with the ward based on current mana passive
@@FrozenSentinel That makes sense. Also thinking about the corruption changes, it's probably better to prioritize speed over everything else now, so would the exalt priority on boots actually be move speed and then int? I know int scales both damage and defense but this build looks like it will crush 1000 corruption without any issues so the faster speed might be more valuable.
I talked about it briefly in the gear section but basically the main things you need to prioritize is: Intelligence, Critical Strike Multiplier, Cooldown Recovery, Mana, Mana Spent Gained as ward.
