Do you happen to know if the tuk tuk cars can take you to this place from copan ruinas? I'm actually traveling there next month and want to see this place, but heard it's about half hour away from town.
Hello Jacoby. Enjoyed your video. Cockatoos are large birds also, but not the size of Macaws. They are both incredibly noisy and totally unsuitable for apartments and city homes. They also have an ability to remove your fingers with those beaks . I have only seen one Macaw in someones home in Australia- but many cockatoos. The subject of caged birds is a fraught one. Clearly I am not a fan. Anyway it is wonderful to see that when people realise they have overestimated their ability to tend to the needs of Macaws there is a place for them to be cared for- perhaps prior to releasing them back to the wild.
