- #AD Thank you so much, IKEA for partnering with me on today's video! Welcome to my college move in day vlog!!!! I am a sophomore Fashion Merchandising student at Kent State University and in today's moving vlog, I'm moving into my apartment! I am living in the Mansh this year also known as the Alpha Phi sorority house which is apartment style.
I'm sharing the before and after of my bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. There is still a lot to do and some pieces that need to be purchased but for the most part, things are coming together and I am so excited! I also sad goodbye to my sister, had one final food review with my sister, and shared my first mail haul in my new place!

It's just a culture thing in the US. You learn a lot though. Yes there has been drama, but things do stabilize (at least in dorm life, I heard Greek life handles it much better!)
It so expensive we all get roommates usually to help with the cost
You can totally get your own room it just cost more money!!

Good luck with your school year! I just graduated from Kent in May. It is really weird to not be moving in right now lol. But I have been enjoying watching these videos! Makes me feel like I’m there still .. a little :)

Girl if you haven’t look into private schools! Ik that sounds way more expensive but the private school I go to ended up being the only school I could afford bc they gave me way more scholarships than public schools. And I’m first gen so they help cover my textbooks through a mentor program!
