It's just a culture thing in the US. You learn a lot though. Yes there has been drama, but things do stabilize (at least in dorm life, I heard Greek life handles it much better!)

Girl if you haven’t look into private schools! Ik that sounds way more expensive but the private school I go to ended up being the only school I could afford bc they gave me way more scholarships than public schools. And I’m first gen so they help cover my textbooks through a mentor program!
