Maye is only 21 so there’s no rush to have him start. They need to get the offensive line in order first.

Why not just give Wolf the GM position, you put him in charge of one of your most important drafts and rebuild. I don’t get why they don’t give him the title?!
It’s simple mike you see how Mac was handle wrong. 2 many offensive coaches lack talent around him . And that’s on both sides of the ball but especially offensive. Improve drakes mechanics and foot work teach him the play book and how to be a leader on the field. And add more talent around him.
Start drake maye next year. Give him a year to learn.

Patriots could have built around Fields MHJ Adonai, but instead chose to build around Maye Polk and Baker. Make it make sense.
There’s a lot of hate for Fields but he’s essentially a carbon copy of last years MVP, Lamar Jackson. The only difference between Lamar and Fields is situation. It’s not Fields fault he has been attached to a bottom 5 offense/team each of his two years in the league.

Ravens had #4 ranked OL, and Bears had 21st ranked. Ravens defense was #1 in points allowed, Bears defense was #19. Ravens had great coaching, Bears have mediocre coaching staff.
And it’s not like Fields went 0-12 in the games he played like many make it seem. He was 5-7 on that bad team. You don’t think he’d have a winning record if Keenan Odunze and Swift were on last years team? They also added some OL depth this off-season.
How can Lamar be considered worthy of a max contract, and winning MVP, but at the same time Fields is considered as a backup QB or potential special teams guy?
It makes perfect sense. Fields is terrible.
