Hello Jeff, thank you for your interesting Dolphin videos! I found your channel while browsing for my first FPV plane on RUclips. Thanks to you, I decided on the Dolphin and I am flying mine for one month and I am loving it. It is very forgiving and is great for both high and low speeds. I equipped my Dolphin with a 7" prop and 2807 1500 KV motor and also fly it with my 6s quadcopter batteries. Keep up the good content. I am craving for more.
Awesome Man! For me, these FPV planes are the coolest thing ever. So many different options, styles and for me the best part is the tinkering and customization.
Waiting for some decent weather here to test-fly my Dolphin. Will post on my chan when I get 'er done. Your settings are definitely a help to anyone who is looking at that first flight.
Have a dolphin kit in a box. Had it for a couple of years. Definitely gonna build it as a twin tractor after watching your build and process. Was already leaning that way but your content sealed the deal.
You wont be disappointed. While you are building it order a spare set of wings from AtomRC and that way you can swap back and forth between a pusher and a tractor.
@@JeffDoesThis I have a bunch of noisy pushers. Love 'em. After owning my Albabird, I fell in love with twin tractors. I have a mini drak kit with extended wings and boom I'm gonna build up as a twin. My dolphin is a kit and I don't want a pusher so one set of wings should work for me. I also want planes that are easy to launch and twins are perfect for that. No trips to the emergency room! Had enough of those. Hospitals suck.
More weight=higher wing loading=better ride..... The bumps or wind cannot affect the higher mass ratio as easily with the same size wing as your previous version

Looks like fun! That twin jobbie worked out well!
Yep, it's my favorite right now.

Jeff, I really like your OSD layout and symbols used. Could you provide instructions on how you set up your OSD. Thanks in advance😊
It is a custom graphic overlay that I use on top of the video. When I get some time, I can make a video on it.
When do you get the boat out and start getting those videos out?
Look up the weather for Clinton IL and you will see the crap forecast we have. The boat is ready to roll but our weather sucks.
