More info about these flights and all of the equipment used on both planes can be found in the video description. Thanks for watching, please leave a reaction before moving on 😃👍
Very cool flight, I've watched your channel for a while now and one thing I've always liked about your videos is that you post a lot of info about the planes and the components you used.
Thanks for the great feedback. It's funny because I'd be way more nervous trying to fly this thing LOS if something went wrong with the FPV... I guess it just depends on what you're comfortable with. If you practice FPV with an inexpensive model you'd soon get the confidence up. Cheers
Many thanks! Yeah the O3 is doing a great job, especially as I'm not using super high gain antennas on the goggles. It works so well low level that my 1.3g days are numbered.
Sweet babies, you two have nerves of steel and those planes MOVE. Nice flying, although the artificial horizon blocks some of the best part of the view
Thanks 🙌🏻 And regarding the AHI, I was annoyed with myself as I accidentally had it on. I had switched it off as I don't like using it anymore, I don't need it and it just gets in the way (as you saw here).
still blows my mind the places we can fly now with digital that analog wasn't great. I flew at Forrest hill bridge 3rd tallest bridge in US. If you launch from the top the cell towers and your position now that they closed the parking lot isn't great but Dji just handles it so well. Excited to see what you have next
It's a bitrate warning on the Goggle2. In my opinion it comes up way too early, I think as soon as you drop below 20mbps. As you can see picture is still perfect when the orange warning appears.
This was my first time with dji goggles at this spot after swapping from walksnail. Adam had to take it easy to stay behind me 😂. Amazing place for flying.
@@pbfpv676 thanks, I have DJI o3 just always curious about the other systems from specially from someone that's used both. Thanks again and great flying 😀
Super flying for first DJI run 👏🏻 I'm sure can both beat these runs next year though💪🏻 for me DJI vs Walksnail is night and day. DJI just works, Walksnail has been painful for me.
Very nice valley running. Such scenic terrain that seems to go on for a long way, so ideal. Am impressed with the low level video quality throughout. (caught the DJI vs Walksnail reference in comments) Looks like a lot of recycled electrons consumed in the making of this video. This video may have set a record (with multiple 55A runs). ♥😎👍
It's a really nice spot for it, the length is probably about right as running full throttle for more than 1m30s is probably a bit much for the wing... and my nerves 😅 In terms of DJI vs WS... on WS I can't even get to the start of that run at higher altitude without the picture being way worse than analogue. I really had high hopes for it but I just find it so frustrating compared to DJI. DJI is annoying for other reasons, but in terms of it's performance when you're flying, it's so good! I never thought I'd be flying that low with such a high quality image 🥳🤩
That Dolphin though, he was really on it at low level...I kept thinking, all he needs is a micro failsafe and hes done for...Is he using Crossfire...🤔😳😳😏🇬🇧
@@pbfpv676 Yes, I know the location, you're flying down a long shallow drop, your stood on top looking down. So, you're running 868mhz Crossfire TBS??..
@EnglishTurbines yes. Its set on dynamic power and I don't think it ever goes above 250mw. Adam runs the same and as long as we're a couple of feet apart there's never a problem.
@@pbfpv676 Yes, I won't go ELRS because why would you..?...I like the TBS stuff, it's properly developed and finished...Mine rarely gets off 25mw too using a proper vertical antenna setup. Quads don't though using horizontals, even then I limit the upper RF power to 250mw...
Yeah he was doing great flying! Like Paul said though, not much chance of us getting a FS on this route. We know how our kit will behave at this location and have full trust in it👍🏻
You just have to learn these things. You get a feel for your setup and what it can achieve and turn round when it shows signs you’re reaching the limit. Such as the bitrate for video or LQ for control link.
I have the same equipment as yours in my new Multiplex Funjet 2; can't wait to fly the maiden as soon as weather permits! (first steps with INAV6). Can't see the distance from home on your OSD, what is your maximum, and with what DVX power set?
Nice fast low level flying. I have a mini talon that does 150km/h and I just finished building an AR wing pro. I’m hoping it does about 180km/h. NTM 2200kv 2836 and 6x5 prop. It was tail heavy first flight so couldn’t test it properly. Hoping to take it back out again soon.
Thanks for your videos. I’m having trouble with INAV auto launch on 2 different models. ZOHD DART XL and DIATONE ripper. Auto launch activates when I throw models but it’s not enough power or barely enough to fly. My planes glide to the ground. Something is limiting my throttle. I’m perplexed. I’ve set auto launch idle at 1300 and launch throat 1700. Any advice?
For people that are properly into the hobby it’s normally more enjoyable to see DVR with OsD than the cinematic stuff. I like to mix it up between the 2. All of the footage in this video was the recording on the goggles 😎
With this wing I use the Goggles 2, and I transport them in the V2 goggle bag, fits perfectly with the antennas on. Not a good idea to keep removing the antennas each time as they have a lifespan with the amount of times they can be taken on and off until the connector on the goggles is shot :/ Cheers
Hi Adam, which wing would you recommend when going with an o3 (overheating issues) but if possible be somewhat stable so I can gyroflow the footage and can at least fly for a short period horizontally 120+kph? doesnt neeed to be 200kph+ but the fast the better so for example I was eyeing with an atomrc dolphin and i think in the 7" prop bigger motor range but it gets quite tricky when no one has ever done that and/or documented.
Maybe something like an AR pro is the easiest to achieve this. Has cooled compartments. Dolphin is a bit more tricky to get cooling to the air unit but completely doable. If you are confident builder then I’d advise a Ritewing. Cheers
see, this is the kind of shit that will hasten the clampdowns on FPV. do you really need to be doing 150kmh at 6-8 feet above the ground on land that you do not own...?

That all she got!?! 😂 Well done, love these fast runs like this! Wish my flying buddies would fly fast like this more often.
Thanks 😁 it's our favourite type of flying! I'm sure you can encourage them👍🏻
Outstanding! You guys always fly so well. I could never even get the nerve to go under the goggles, too scared to stray from LOS.
Honestly buddy los is a thousand times harder than through goggles 👍🤝

@@AdamGdoesFPV Thank you for the advise, sir. I'll try with my old Timber or FT explorer. Winter in TN will be here soon.
Great flights and a lovely spot for flying. Well done. The 03 air unit signal seems to hold up very well at those low levels which is good news.

Haha, i just got back from a blast in my new car on the twisty lake district backroads listening to this song! are you stalking me? xD
Good tune for fast flying or driving😄
That's a good power setup. 55 amps at full throttle for a long time.
It sure is. Can hold full throttle continuously for a minute no problem, I do it almost every flight 😅

good chasing dude
Thanks! It's actually hard work trying to control the chase while also flying super low to the ground.

How do you compare the two systems?
@rotormasher for low level flying dji is better. I like walksnail too, but flying like this with it was harder. Too much smearing.

how you know which distance you should go back? i mean signal range and penetration.

Up the idle throttle and set launch to 2000. If that fails there’s an issue with your selected electronics for the plane
How far is 3.0 question marks ? 😋
Km, it's Betaflight compatibility OSD
This is so epic!! I prefer this over stabilized footage!
Is this onboard DVR or DVR from the goggles?
