Just wanted to drop a thank you. As a 52 year old man that has never fished, watching your Pompano videos got me interested. I got a setup and my first day out on the south side of the Boca inlet, I caught two Pompano on the tide change. I'm totally hooked now! Thank you for opening my eyes to the fun that can be had without a boat. I'm trying some bridges this week and weekend. Please keep the noob videos comin'. You help show how accessible shore/kayak fishing can be.
I literally busted out laughing when ya got caught in the tree after the ' rookie on the bank ' comment😂😂😂 I felt your frustration!!!!! I'm a Retired Army Veteran and lemme just say, fishing has saved my life in more ways than 1!! I finally found something that brings me peace and helps ease a lot of the noise ya know!!! (Sorry for the ramble!!) I'm new to your channel (and only been fishing around a year so I'm the 'rookie on the bank' 😂 I really appreciate and love your videos so far! I've learned so much already.. and you've allllmost got me convinced to try out a bait caster... I can't lie, I'm BIG NERVOUS!.. but excited!! Thanks again JC!! It's been awesome to drop a line inith ya if ur ever in Daytona! 🎣🐟🐠🐡
Video preview: Fish on every cast! First cast: …..nothing 🤣 just picking love ya videos. I’m a freshwater guy but picked up a penn pursuit on your recommendation for our trip to Myrtle Beach this month and scored a couple of decent blue fish and learned a lot. Keep it up!
Nice video. I enjoy real videos. Often people show them catching all day but reality is wre all have ebbs and flows. Thanks for listing what you are using to catch on. My bf and I are new to fishing and are subscribers. I enjoy videos from other local Florida's. We are in orlando and get out often
Pick yourself up an old winter glove. You can wrap the braid around your hand in the glove to break the line or try to muscle with the fish or the snag without slicing your hand to ribbons.
Hey jc. Wanted to know if there are any fishable spots in bradenton or farther south that you know of? I’m from tampa and everything is a wreck as you know. Trying to see if there anything closer before heading to sebastian inlet.
What I'm experiencing is that most of the public areas have been either damaged or the parks department has blocked the areas off until they are able to inspect damage and get things cleaned up. There are some spots that are accessible, but anything along the beach is pretty much closed.
Man I love your channel I just found it I like the way you use blue-collar equipment even though you've got a pretty well established channel most of them don't. What do you recommend for a couple of conventional combos for inshore one for maybe smaller stuff and 1 for a little bit bigger larger stuff rnothing real huge, maybe up to a 40 inch red. I've always used ambassador 5000 or 6500 just want to try something different. Thanks man I really appreciate your channel having a lot with it.
I use spinning gear more than conventional. I prefer Penn brand reels. The Piscifun I'm using in this video has caught a lot of fish and some very big ones over the past 2 years. It's still functioning well, makes a little noise, but one of the screws that holds the reel together snapped when I was tightening it during maintenance. It still works, but eventually may cause a problem if I hook a giant fish. For the price it's been a good one. If you can afford it go with a good name brand like Penn. I've had a lot less issues with Penn than the off brand reels.
I like the longer minimal edited videos because it shows the realism. It is also a better perspective of your personality I feel.

@@RadReelingFishing I agree, almost every reel I use is a penn pursuit beside a couple of penn battles.
Stay safe! Sucks that this storm is coming because you already know fishing will be much harder after and plus red tide now 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Carry a magnet fishing kit to fish for expensive lures out there. You may just bring up lots of them!
It sure why you aren’t on the kayak more often, hands down I catch more and see more action than shoreline
Yeeehawwwww
Time to go swimming? There's no sharks there, probably.
yo i love your vid pls lets collab fishing!
first comment
yo can we collab?
Jc that's why they call it fishing and not catching
This is a RUclips trend that I just can’t get behind. 🤷♂️
Folks drinking alcohol are the ones you should be worrying about!
.... just sayin'!
Fish may be on fire before the hurricane, wish I was with ya. Preparing, in flood zone A here in Clearwater. Be safe
