Never put your machine in a difficult position if you have a choice. They are built to take a lot of stress but it’s almost always the operators decision.
nice work! makes me realize how far these machines have come from the cable blade/manual transmission equipment of the old days. so much more productive. still love the old Cat's, but this new equipment definitely gets some work done.
Ok, so, I'm a newbie. I've only been operating for a short time, less than a year. I have a couple of questions to kind of gauge where I am. The person in this youtube vid is, quote "One hell of an operator". 1.) Would it be fair to say that the hourly rate is up in the $20 to 25 range? Pushing the material into place seems fairly simple, it's nice material. 2.) But what if it had rained for the last 24 hours, would these folks be working in mud as easily? The site is very flat making it fairly easy to put in a lift. What about working on a site that has a steep, 1/3, 1/4 drop-off, you make one error and you're going for a roll over of a few hundred feet. 3.) Does working in the rain with a lot of mud make sense? If you are slipping and sliding and dealing with mud, does that make sense? Tomorrow was to be a try-out for a new company. I went to the site yesterday - it was dry. It has rained for 24 hours straight. It's an hour drive for me to the site. The site superintendent lives in New York, has no idea if they will work the site. They might not call me to come in for a try-out. If they do, I'm going to be working with a machine in mud up to my rollers. 4.) Is there much difference between a person like me making $18 an hour compared to the person making $25?
can somebody tell me,,,,,,,,,,,how long does it take to become this good........it's a pleasure to watch how easy and effortless he makes it look........it actually became mesmerizing watching this,,,,,,,,,,is there even an answer to my question...................can you learn this or does it need to an innate thing,,,,,,,,,,you either have it or you don't............thanks..................

The Bible says that we are all guilty of breaking the Ten Commandments of God (Romans 3:23). As a result, we all deserve to go to Hell because none is righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:10). But the good news is that you do not have to go to Hell (John 3:16). Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died on the Cross for your sins and if you Repent of your sins and Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior then you will be saved (John 3:16). Jesus is calling on all to repent and you know longer have to live in despair but in love, joy, and peace through Jesus Christ. Amen.
typical dozer operator wants it placed on a dime when he's running a machine that can push it where it needs to go. I mean seriously it wastes more time to stop, have the driver move than dump than it would take him to move it the extra 5 feet. it's not like he's making fine grade

Cool.
In Indonesia, road construction still using small dozers and truck.
It's nice to see a video of an operator doing it the right way!! easy on the equipment, no unnecessary moves. Good job.
No time wasting though. Both dozer or DT.

Shut the gps and the lazer off and then you get to an operator if you have one!
This operator don’t have gps...
У нас так быстро нельзя .
У них другие цифры намного больше наших!!!
Ese operador no es bueno con esa maquinita y no arrastrar una volquetada
That dozer is in need of a new undercarriage soon!
