Nioh Charm Farming Alt-Build (1.08): an easy and fast way to farm charms

The 1.08 patch introduced many nice affixes on charms. This fact enforces us to pursuit the ideal charm =(
Unlike the weapons or armors, charm cannot be reforged which makes it one of the most difficult thing to farm.
Here i represent you a very easy and fast way to farm charm, together with a charm farming alt-build to get the best result.
What i called an 'alt-build' is an utility build which itself can overlap to your current build, no respecialization is required.
The newly added 'equipment sets' function allows you to switch back and forth between main and utility build easily.

what do i do with extra charms? other than offering them or selling them. can i break them down like weapons? i dont see the option at the blacksmith.
i think you cannot. selling is the best option as far as i remember =)
does she drops charms at the first playtrough to? I'm searching for a way to get charms with ccd if enemy is poisoned. I only play with a friend so I'm just do farming if he's offline 😁

yes you can, pretty sure =)
I tried this setup, but the problem I find is that I lost a lot of killing power since swallowtail set hardly raises any attacking stats. Did you try using this to farm marobashi or hyakki or any other endgame spots?

yes i did, hear other ppl did as well. pretty rare though.
Is there a way to do amrita farming with a kunai build?
personally i do not do amrita farming since i do not feel the importance of leveling up. i have little knowledge in this subject. but i do see a few videos farming amrita in Restless Spirits mission. since kunai build is quite efficient for this mission, i think that is a way to go =3

Ryun0niNja a shuriken build is a little too powerful right now. I am doing WotD without touching shrines. It's a little crazy.
Sam IV Wyant it's perfect for PVE but not fair for others in PVP. Hopefully they dont nerf it to the ground.
Nice, also we need Ninja Claws as weapon next, Odachi is kind of lame.
I'm not massively impressed by the Odachi (solid, not really overpowering though).
Until I turn on Living Weapon. Hoooo boy, it's better than Blade Spin!

Do you think this way is better than farming the Trial of Master mission? Would you like to share the reason why this is better?
You get more stuff in this run, the lady drops a few gear pieces that can be salvaged. You can get two accessories per run here, and it certainly looks faster than the run to the body in Trail of the Master, so I'd say overall this is probably more effective in the long-run, even though you get three tries in Trail of the Master vs the two here, you might get a nice weapon or armor piece to compensate.
yeah this seems way faster and more useful then Trial of the Master.
The other good place to farm for yasakani is Bearer of I'll Tidings as a Twilight Mission. Corpse near the extra boss has a decent chance at dropping one.
Plus Joro-gumo drops accessories, as can the cyclops.
you are not always get 2 accessories here i am afraid =3 but the rest are all valid points xD
the overall difficulty is lower than trial of master, the route is faster and you get extra equipment and items. furthermore, if you do this in NG++, you have a very chance to meet the enhanced snow lady who drops decent loots =)
what are these nice affixes you speak of?
Thug Nme thown weapon x2, throw weapon % dmg, shuriken & kunai % dmg. Throw speed up shuriken. That's all, ignore those ninjutsu dmg bonus for specific ninjutsu since their scale are shitty.
not only for ninjutsu, you can also aiming for some useful onmyo specific skill enhancement or a nice yasakani with useful affixes or getting nice roll of your current charms =)

The farming in this game sucks. Borderlands 2 all over again, im playing super casual.
farming is always boring but sometimes you have to do it =(
Im am lv70 b4 the first ice mission place in Region 3 I think. It's hard for me to play the game due to having dyspraxia and the amount of effort needed to do missions. NG is such a struggle it's painful.
