The activity card challenges need to be looked at, as soon as you unlock it at 25 it’s giving you challenges for level 60+ content. It’s not prevented me levelling up the BP but defo slows it down

I started on a fresh start server with a new character and was looking forward to getting to 25 so I could see the seasonal stuff. Needless to say it was a bit more overwhelming than I expected. It is XP = levels, just not directly in that sense. You can just play the game and progress battlepass, only need to claim the deed when it is done for exp. Kill 10 enemies with magic = 1 stamp, and collect all 16 stamps = 1 - 2 levels of battlepass. Tbh this season pass is much better than others since it doesn't gate your progress by dailies or weeklies. If you are keen on it, you can complete it in one day actually.

My season lvl is around 80 now, and for the most part I don't pay attention to the tasks. Sometimes I switch weapons or play 2 songs to get that extra stamp. But for the most part if you play a mix of PVE and PVP you'll progress automatically. Some resource gathering, chest run, outpost rush and maybe an expedition here and there

I suppose the battle pass missions make sense for max level people who are in end game. Being new to the game I already have so many missions going that I don’t have time to check more missions in the pass.
azoth conductor still allows less dmg than the one giving a lot of free extra attribute points (attuned pants ?) they will have to buff to 20% or 25% bonus to negate attuned pants + light equip load bonus
Thanks for the tips, very useful as always. One thing I'm really struggling with is healing / targeting especially on controller... Is there a way to make this easier? Even with the menu settings / targeting keybinds (which cant be used on controller) many have suggested, nameplates just don't appear (especially in Outpost Rush or raid groups) meaning you cant tell who to heal, but even once you find someone worth healing its a nightmare to target them and EVEN THEN 90% of the time the heal just ends up on the floor three miles from the target. Any tips on healing would be massively appreciated, thanks again for all these incredible guides.

Hey man I had no idea either, but check out a video called ‘daily checklist’ for new world. I literally just got the idea. It’s usually chest runs, and my strategy to learn was get invited to a group (you’ll usually wanna be lvl 60-65), and just watch on the map where the members go. Ideally you’ll have a teleported near them to join on time, otherwise you’ll know to get it for future reference. These chest runs are in elite forts or some shit it’s called, there is loads of different ones spread out in each zone, so you’ll learn it soon enough 🙂
So as a rule like Mitch said it's normally chest runs or Mutation 3 expeditions or raid etc. Things that don't have a party system built in. One person might send a message saying "Hive 705 need DPS / Tank" and people will reply with (if they have the 705 gearscore they're asking for and are a Tank or DPS) "+Hive" which just means "+[invite me to] Hive [the raid]". Alternatively someone might set up a lobby in party finder under activities in the menu then advertise the party in the same way, in which case you can request to join from activity menu. You'll get used to the shorthand like +MYRK is the elite chest run for myrkgard in the shattered mountains.
I would like to see a build done with sword and flail - full tank pvp guide. I haven’t seen anyone do it and it feels like it would be good lots of cc - heal - and abilities to close the gap.
Man, I really feel like New World design team is missing out so much potential. In other games I actually crave a lot of the skins they have, but New World is the complete opposite for me. If they put a little more effort in the designs of paid skins, I would be really glad to give them my money, but damn, not even a single mount skin has caught my attention yet. I'd love it if you shared 3v3 advice : how to behave, when to charge, when to cover mates... Also, I'm not 65 yet so I'm scared to go open world PvP, but a comprehensive guide about how it works, what to do, what the different activities are, could help me get started. i got a question. how hard is it to heal for a big raid? coz i played a little WOW back in the day and healing for a raid without add-ons and extensions was a nightmare. now i'm playing this on console, so no add-ons. i'm level 20 and haven't grouped yet so the answer is probably pretty obvious, my lack of knowledge of group healing in New World is total at this point. fun game tho. as a musician i get a kick out of the band/music system. it's cool. and if there's anyone from Amazon reading, and we know there is lol, the ONE shop skin that is IRRESISTIBLE to me is instrument skins. and i'm not a skin-shop guy, the occasional mount if one looks really good to me is all. and don't be afraid to put "magic" powered "electric" instruments in (styled to the world etc), it's cheesy, yes, but Aeternum is a cheesy world, you're kinda banking on that aesthetic anyway. and, if they aren't already in there, FACTIONAL style variations of instruments. Syndicate instruments would look BOSS, particularly the "magic/electric" ones.
It's too much of a pain in the arse. I generally do buy season passes in these games, but this one is too complex to be fun. It's especially bad if you're a new player trying to level -- many of the tasks are far out of reach.

Please take this as constructive criticism. As a new console player a lot of the community has thrown out your name as reference for new starting out players. However, everytime I watch your videos you cannot stay on topic. For example, in this video it wasn't until 6 minutes in when we began talking about the video title and the topic I searched for. All of your videos are excessively long relative to the topic. I urge you to develop a script/ bullet points and stick to it as you get easily distracted
I'll be honest, i completely ignore that thing. I dont like them in any game, it feels like a cheap mobile game. My favorite pc games dont have a pass and NW didn't either in 2021. And thank god we arent at pay to win YET in pc gaming.

Season passes like this one for S6 tend to be focused on the new area, so doing the dailies for doubloons, makes it very straight forward.

There is a bug currently that when you hit the gong in Ebonscale's main city, it gives you the "complete a quest" activity ;)
