It is true today managers want more control so they reduce the complex skills and introduce simpler tasks that the entire team can participate in.
Jorginho has that busquets style. He’s just nowhere near that level of composure in big games or the consistent vision. But he’s one of the only few to have that positional sense and some vision to see which way player lines are moving.
Just blessed to watch the classiest Spanish team in history live few years ago. Just imagine a midfield of Xavi, Iniesta, Alonso, busquests, defense led by Puyol, Casillas, Capdivilla, Arbeloa and the attacking prowess of Villa, a prime Torres. They were the most consistent international team i have seen. Though, Brazilian teams produced magical football, this team's consistency was insane.
